England’s international break kicks off on Friday night as they host their old rivals Australia at Wembley. Gareth Southgate will use this game as a tune-up for the qualifier against Italy on Tuesday night, but it is still a game England should win with ease. I’ve taken a look at the market to put together a Bet Builder for this clash.

England vs Australia Bet Builder:

  • England to win 2-0
  • Jude Bellingham to score
  • Harry Kane to score
  • Over 5.5 England corners

Bet Builder pays 40/1

England to win 2-0

England are the superior side here and on home soil should be able to win this game fairly comfortably. Australia are winless in their last three, but always remain competitive, so although a home win is likely, we can find some extra value with a correct score.

The Three Lions are unlikely to completely obliterate the Aussies, but they should be able to win the game and keep a clean sheet. However, with a crucial qualifier against Italy to come on Tuesday, Gareth Southgate may choose to rest and rotate several of his key players in the second half, meaning we could see a drop off in intensity.

Jude Bellingham to score

Eight goals. Eight games. La Liga’s top scorer and arguably the best player in the world so far this season. Bellingham has been nothing short of sensational, and unleashed in the number ten position he has established himself as a genuinely terrific goalscorer. Now pushed up into that position by England, he will take on more goalscoring responsibility for his country.

Harry Kane to score

Likely to work on his partnership with Bellingham, Harry Kane will be keen to get back in the goalscoring books for his country, having scored eight in seven Bundesliga matches for his new club Bayern Munich. He’s already England’s record goalscorer and their nominated penalty taker, so we can expect him to find the net again here. He will likely be substituted at one stage in the second half, but he’ll want to get on the scoresheet before then.

Over 5.5 England corners

One way to bump the odds up here is to back England corners during the game. They are likely to have several attempts at goal over the course of the game, and Australia will be defending for all they are worth. We’ve chosen six corners as the target for England to hit, given they have a host of players looking to make an impact from the bench. The Three Lions can win well here, and a dominant display could see these selections come in.
