Eintracht Frankfurt vs Union Saint-Gilloise Prediction: Visitors to go for goals

Eintracht Frankfurt welcome in Union Saint-Gilloise for the second leg of their Europa Conference League play-off tie, with the visitors boosted hugely by having fought back from two goals down in the first meeting. 

The current Belgian Pro League leaders twice inside the first 10 minutes on home turf but responded superbly to secure a draw which gives them plenty of hope for the trip to Germany.

A season-ending injury to on-loan Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic means Omar Marmoush will be pushed into the central role in Dino Toppmoller's 3-4-3 system with Ansgar Knauff, who scored twice as a substitute in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Freiburg, returning to the line-up. 

First-choice goalkeeper Anthony Moris missed the first leg through injury, but he returned in Union's 3-1 win at Kortrijk at the weekend and should start again on Thursday. But the Belgian outfit will be without midfielder Charles Vanhoutte in Germany after he received two yellow cards in the first leg.

Eintracht Frankfurt are favoured to finish off the job in the second leg with the home side rated 21/20 chances to get a win in front of their own fans. 

Union Saint-Gilloise did not win any of their three away group stage games in the Europa League and are available at 13/5 to spring an upset in Germany, with the draw at 12/5. 

Goals are likely given the nature of the open first leg with both teams to score available at 8/11. while it's EVS at least one of the teams fails to find the net and over 2.5 total goals is on offer at 10/11. 

Union Saint-Gilloise Over 1.5 goals @ 2/1 

After last week's sloppy start in the first leg, during which Union fell two goals behind, Alexander Blessin's team showed plenty of character and quality to get back on level terms. 

They pressed Eintracht's defence into an error that led to Matias Rasmussen pulling one back before the break and the Norwegian's dinked pass was put away by Gustaf Nilsson for the equaliser midway through the second half. 

Scoring has not been a problem for Union this season - they lead the way in Belgium with 57 goals from 26 league games. 

Blessin's team, who have struck two or more times in seven of their last nine games, do not rely on a couple of players for their goals either with five members of the squad having contributed five or more in the league. 

Eintracht's defence, which has been struggling to keep goals out of late, could be exposed on Thursday. 

They shipped three goals at Freiburg on Sunday to make it eight goals conceded across their last four games. 

Toppmoller's team have kept just two clean sheets in their last 16 games with their opponents having hit multiple goals in 11 of those contests. 

Mohammed Amoura to score Anytime @ 21/10 

Union are blessed with plenty of potential goalscorers, but no one stands out more than leading marksman Amoura at the moment. 

The Algerian bagged his 17th league goal of the campaign at Kortrijk on Sunday and struck twice in the Europa League group stages, including the opener in a 2-1 home win over Liverpool. 

Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Amoura has scored in four of his six games for Union. 

He recorded one shot on target, one off target and an assist in the first leg and will be a constant menace to Eintracht's defenders in this return clash.
