Dundee vs Kilmarnock Prediction: Killie to end campaign on high note
Saturday is the final day of the season for the top six in the Scottish Premiership, and both Dundee and Kilmarnock will be hoping for positive results after struggling in recent weeks. The Dee are currently on a run of seven games without a win, including defeats in each of their last four, and have also failed to claim victory in any of their last four home games.
Kilmarnock, meanwhile, have lost two of their last three matches in the league. However, these defeats came against the top two in the division - with their 5-0 home loss to Celtic last time out ensuring the title went to the visitors. Team News
Dundee boss Tony Docherty will be without a trio of first-team players through injury, with key centre-back Joe Shaughnessy expected to miss out with a knee problem.
Left-back Owen Beck continues to nurse a groin issue and is unlikely to feature while Mexican forward Diego Pineda is also out with a hamstring injury.
Killie manager Derek McInnes is also without three players, with James Balagizi (knee), Brad Lyons and Kyle Magennis (both hamstring) all in the treatment room.
However, star youngster David Watson should be fit enough to start in the midfield after picking up the league’s Young Player of the Season award earlier this week.

Dundee are the 9/5 underdogs going into this final fixture at Dens Park, whereas the visitors are at 6/4 to take the three points back to East Ayrshire.
The draw provides odds of 12/5 while Dundee striker Michael Mellon is 6/1 to break the deadlock in this encounter.

Given Dundee’s poor form, and the fact Kilmarnock’s three defeats across their last 22 league matches have come against either Celtic or Rangers, all signs point towards an away victory on Saturday.
Killie have lost just one of their last 10 visits to Dens Park and have lost just two of their last eight on the road in all competitions.
They should prove too strong at the weekend against a side that have won just six league matches at home all season.

Although expected to win, Kilmarnock may not have too happy a time in front of goal on Saturday given that they have failed to score more than once in six of their last seven games.
