It's a London derby at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon as Crystal Palace welcome Tottenham Hotspur, with both sides looking for an end of year lift. It has, of course, been an historic year for both clubs, with Palace hoisting the FA Cup in May and Spurs raising the Europa League the same month.

More recently, things have been tough. Oliver Glasner's Eagles are winless in four across all competitions, while Tottenham have suffered successive Premier League defeats and were six places below their hosts in the table coming into this round of fixtures.

Over 2.5 goals @ 5/6

Over 2.5 goals has been a recurring them in games involving these sides. It has come up in seven of Crystal Palace's previous nine games and nine of Tottenham's last 10 games in all competitions.

Given their lack of recent victories and the fact both have lengthy injury lists, siding with goals in this London derby looks the best base for any bet builder as there have been at least three goals in 16 of the previous 19 games featuring one of these teams.

Both teams to score @ 4/6

Both teams have scored in six of Spurs' last nine games, the same figure as Palace have recorded since their 2-0 win at basement boys Wolves in November.

Strugglers Burney and Irish Premier Division outfit Shelbourne are the only teams that have failed to breach Palace's backline in that sequence and Spurs should have the quality to pierce it.

Having the faith in either side to win is tough. Palace have won just two home Premier League games from eight, while Tottenham have managed just two wins in nine games in all competitions lately.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur Odds

Jean-Phillipe Mateta anytime goalscorer @ 5/4

If the hosts are going to find the net, Jean-Phillipe Mateta looks a likely source. The 28-year-old Frenchman has scored 23 goals in his last 31 Premier League starts at Selhurst Park.

Mateta is without a goal in six games, his longest run this season for club and country. He got the only goal when the teams met here last season.

Tottenham most corners @ 5/4

Tottenham's travelling record in London derbies against teams ranked above them in the table is poor, with just one victory in 19 attempts under such circumstances.

They might struggle to add another now but the Lilywhites may win the corner count. Palace's average of 3.76 corners-per-game is the fourth-lowest in the league this season behind Wolves, Sunderland and Burnley.

Spurs, meanwhile, are averaging 5.65 flag-kicks per game this season in the league, a tally only Arsenal and Newcastle can better.
