Saturday's late Premier League kick off sees Manchester United travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace (17:30, live on Sky Sports Main Event), as Erik ten Hag's side attempt to win their third consecutive match.

Palace were 4-0 winners in this fixture in May, but the Eagles are yet to taste victory this season. Read on for my Crystal Palace vs Man United prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Crystal Palace vs Man United Betting Tips

  • Man United to win and over 2.5 goals @ 21/10
  • Marcus Rashford to score anytime @ 9/4

Team News

Crystal Palace will be without long-term injury absentees Chadi Riad (knee) and Matheus Franca (broken rib), while Trevoh Chalobah (abdominal) could still feature after missing last weekend's draw with Leicester City.

Adam Wharton and Cheick Doucoure are expected to be recalled in midfield, while summer signing Maxence Lacroix has started Palace's last two matches and looks set to start on Saturday.

As for United, Victor Lindelof (toe), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Luke Shaw (calf) and Leny Yoro (foot) all remain sidelined, however Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount have returned to training but Saturday's encounter is expected to come too soon for both players.

After several changes in the 7-0 win over Barnsley in midweek, Ten Hag is expected to recall the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez and Bruno Fernandes to the starting XI this weekend.

Crystal Palace vs Man United Odds

Palace are 9/5 to win their first game of the season, giving them a theoretical chance of 35.7% of claiming all three points. United are 13/10 to win their third game on the spin, while the draw is 5/2.

Man United to win and over 2.5 goals @ 21/10

Crystal Palace’s 4-0 home win over United in May was one of the highlights of their 2023/24 season, but the Eagles have struggled to get going since the new campaign got under way.

Despite Carabao Cup triumphs over Championship outfits Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers, Glasner’s side are yet to claim a league win and needed a late penalty against newly-promoted Leicester to earn a 2-2 draw last week, a result that followed a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United in their previous outing at Selhurst Park.

United's form has picked up in the last week after an inconsistent start to the campaign, and they're looking for a third-straight victory here after a comfortable win away at Southampton last weekend, before demolishing Barnsley 7-0 in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

Despite the Red Devil's keeping back-to-back clean sheets in those games, I think Palace can make their presence felt here - all but three of Palace’s last 12 league home games have featured at least three goals, which why I'm taking the over 2.5 goals along with a United win.

Marcus Rashford to score anytime @ 9/4

Rashford will feel like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders after scoring his first goal since March in the 3-0 win at Southampton, before recording a brace against Barnsley.

The England international has also recorded four shots on target in his last two outings, suggesting that he's playing with confidence at the moment. I think 9/4 is decent value for the United forward to net in his third consecutive game.
