Team News
Colchester remain without Ben Perry, Dominic Gape and Adrian Akande due to injury, and there are also doubts over the fitness of Jack Payne, who has missed the last two matches with a hamstring issue.
Fulham U21s have a relatively clean bill of health, and they will once again be hoping Aaron Loupalo-Bi, who has eight goals in 12 matches this season, can make an impact.
Colchester are the 8/15 favourites to make it a clean sweep of victories in Southern Section Group G, with the draw priced at 7/2 and Fulham U21s 4/1 to claim the spoils.
Both teams to score is heavily fancied at 4/9, while it is 5/6 for there to be over 3.5 goals in the contest.
Colchester vs Fulham U21 Stats
- FUL have lost both Group G games
- COL have won both Group G matches
- COL have only kept one clean sheet in their last 15 contests (all comps)
Colchester to win and both teams to score @ 11/8
Fulham U21s have lost both of their Group G games to Gillingham and Wycombe, confirming their exit with a match to spare, and they could be in for more disappointment when taking on the pool leaders.
In contrast, Colchester have recorded 2-1 wins over both the Gills and Wanderers to secure their place in the next stage of the competition, and the League 2 outfit should have too much quality for their academy opposition.
However, the U's have kept just one clean sheet in their last 15 assignments, and that should give the young Cottagers hope they can at least get on the scoresheet, something they have achieved in seven of their previous nine fixtures.

Half-Time/Full-Time - Draw/Colchester @ 18/5
With Colchester's progress already confirmed, head coach Danny Cowley may decide to rotate his side with one eye on Saturday's trip to League 2 leaders Walsall.
This could make for a disjointed performance in the first 45 minutes, and it would be no surprise to see the U's being held at the break, which they have been in four of their last five matches.
Cowley will have options on the bench if he is required to call upon them, and this extra quality could tell in the second period, with Fulham U21s eventually succumbing to the hosts.
