I still don't think many people comprehend just how mind-blowing Doncaster's winning run has been that has given them a great opportunity to finish in the play-offs. As late as early March, Rovers were 20th. Over a month later they're eighth, only out of the top seven on goal difference.

Eight wins in a row is phenomenal no matter what level of football you're playing at. Momentum is with Grant McCann's side heading into this one, against a Colchester side that are consistently inconsistent. There is more at stake for the visitors and I'm expecting them to grab their 10th win on the bounce here.

They showed great character to come from two goals down at the weekend so the players will be feeling unstoppable at this moment in time. And with the greatest respect to the hosts, Barrow were a much tougher opponent for Doncaster.

In Rovers' stunning winning run, only one of their nine matches has seen them score under 1.5 goals, with McCann's men having scored two or more in eight of them. Against a Colchester side just above the relegation zone, and who have leaked 75 goals this term, I reckon the visiting attackers can have a field day, especially after the weekend's showing.

I didn't want to get ahead of myself so that is why I've opted for over 1.5 goals for Doncaster, which at 1/1 still offers excellent value.
