Correct score - Chelsea 2-0
Chelsea head into Sunday's encounter with Aston Villa off the back of a 2-0 win over Heidenheim on Thursday night in the Conference League, taking their unbeaten run up to five games.
Furthermore, in the Premier League, Chelsea’s only defeat since the opening weekend of the season against Manchester City remains the 2-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield last month.
Villa, meanwhile, will be desperate to end a run of seven games without a win across all competitions, after another stalemate in midweek against Juventus.
I was going to back Chelsea to win to nil but I'm opting for a correct score prediction for further value, as Villa have fired blanks in three of their last four outings, in all competitions, including their last two road trips. Meanwhile, the Blues have bagged at least twice in four of their last seven contests.
Champions League football appears to be taking its toll on Unai Emery's side, and with Chelsea putting out a heavily-rotated XI on Thursday night, they'll be raring to go this weekend.
Wesley Fofana to be carded
The 23-year-old has been booked six times in 11 appearances in the Premier League this term - the most for a Chelsea player - and could find his way into the referee's book once more on Sunday trying to contain the likes of Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins.
The Frenchman has committed 18 fouls so far this season, averaging 1.69 per 90 minutes.
Sunday's referee is Stuart Attwell, who has dished out 28 cautions in the seven contests he's officiated in the top flight this season, averaging four per game, suggesting he won't be afraid to take names this weekend.
Cole Palmer to score anytime
Chelsea's star man was rested on Thursday night against Heidenheim, as he hasn't been included in the Conference League squad.
The former Manchester City midfielder has had the most shots for the Blues in the Premier League this term, recording 38 in 12 appearances, with 14 of those landing on target.
In addition, Palmer has seven goals and five assists to his name so far this campaign, so if Chelsea are to win on Sunday, I expect the England international to be heavily involved.
