Chelsea and Fulham will both seek redemption in Saturday's (12:30) Premier League clash, having come up short in their respective Carabao Cup semi-final first legs.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 at the Riverside by Middlesbrough, while despite taking the lead at Anfield, Fulham were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline against Liverpool.

Chelsea vs Fulham Prediction

  • Chelsea to win and both teams to score @ 2/1
  • Cole Palmer to score anytime @ 2/1

Team News

Robert Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu and Trevoh Chalobah are ruled out for the hosts.

Nicolas Jackson is unavailable while he’s at the Africa Cup of Nations and Christopher Nkunku will be assessed in the build-up.

As for Fulham, Adama Traore and Tim Ream are the only injury concerns, but Marco Silva may rotate and prioritise the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool.

Calvin Bassey, Fode Ballo-Toure and Alex Iwobi are all at the African Cup of Nations.

Match Odds

Chelsea are favourites for the game at 3/5, while Fulham are 9/2 to take the three points to Craven Cottage and the draw is 3/1.

The Blues won the reverse fixture between the sides 2-0 and a repeat of that scoreline can be backed at 15/2.

Chelsea to win and both teams to score @ 2/1

Chelsea are unbeaten in seven at home across all competitions, winning five of those, and Fulham have been poor travellers this season picking up just six of a possible 24 points on the road.

The Blues' only home clean sheets in the league have come against teams who are currently in the drop zone – so Fulham can at least grab a consolation effort.

The Cottagers haven't scored at Stamford Bridge since 2011, so they're certainly due a goal.

Cole Palmer to score anytime @ 2/1

The former Manchester City man had a bit of a shocker in the Blues' midweek cup loss at the Riverside, but as the saying goes; form is temporary and class permanent.

Palmer is Chelsea's top goalscorer this season, and with Nicolas Jackson away at AFCON and Christopher Nkunku potentially absent due to injury, the Blues will need the England midfielder to step up to the plate once again.

Palmer's hit eight goals in his past 11 league starts for the Blues, and I think he'll get plenty of chances to add to his tally here against a Fulham side that are winless in seven away matches.
