Hull vs Wrexham Prediction: 11/2 Correct Score pick one to watch on Wednesday

Wednesday evening sees Hull welcome Wrexham to the MKM Stadium (20:00 GMT, live on Sky Sports Main Event) with just one point separating the sides in the Championship table.

The Tigers have won just two of their past six games, while the visitors are unbeaten in their past nine games. Read on for my Hull vs Wrexham prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

John Lundstram remains sidelined for the hosts, however Charlie Hughes is likely to return to the starting XI here.

Eliot Matazo, Cody Drameh, and Kasey Palmer remain on the Tigers' treatment table.

As for Wrexham, Issa Kabore, Elliot Lee, Aaron James, Lewis Brunt, Danny Ward , Jay Rodriguez and Andy Cannon will all be absent, although the latter two are said to be closing in on a return to action.

Hull have lost their last two matches in front of their own fans, so Wrexham can certainly go to the MKM Stadium and cause problems on Wednesday night.

Following on from my first pick, I'm also tipping under 2.5 match goals on Wednesday night.

As mentioned in the introduction, Wrexham are unbeaten in their last nine matches, and they'll be eager to keep that streak alive here, so I could see them playing to avoid defeat rather than to win.

Having conceded just eight times away in the league, Parkinson's side will aim to keep Hull quiet, with under 2.5 goals prevailing in 13 of the Red Dragons' previous 14 Championship games.

Similarly, Hull have lost their last two at home, and only kept one clean sheet in their last 10, so I think if you offered them a point before the game, they'd take it. Therefore, I'm expecting a low-scoring game to play out here.
