Team news

Derby defender Max Johnston has been ruled out for up to eight weeks after suffering a serious hamstring injury in the win over Queens Park Rangers last month.

Johnston is joined by Curtis Nelson and Lewis Travis in the treatment room, while Tuesday’s game looks set to come slightly too soon for Owen Beck.

Football Odds

Hull have been dealing with a host of injuries of late, with Oli McBurnie, Liam Millar, Kasey Palmer, John Lundstram, Akin Famewo, Mohamed Belloumi and Eliot Matazo all set to miss the trip to the East Midlands this week.

Today's Football Fixtures

Derby vs Hull Odds

Derby are 11/8 to win at Pride Park, while Hull City are 21/10 to head back to Yorkshire with the three points.

A draw is available at 9/4, while the scores to be level at half-time and full-time is currently 18/5.

Derby vs Hull Stats

  • Derby have won their last three league games
  • Hull are unbeaten in six
  • Carlton Morris scored a hat-trick vs Sheff Utd

Draw and both teams to score @ 16/5

Both these sides find themselves in good form going into this one, with Derby losing just one of their last seven games in the Championship, while Hull are unbeaten in their last six games.

Derby have been held to draws in two of their last four games at Pride Park and another stalemate might well be on the cards on Tuesday.

The last time these sides faced off in Derby was last season in the Championship, with the Rams and the Tigers playing out a 1-1 draw.

A similar scoreline looks to be on the cards here and there’s value to be had at 16/5 for a scoring draw in this one.

Carlton Morris anytime goalscorer @ 9/5

Former Luton Town star Carlton Morris has been enjoying an impressive campaign for the Rams, finding the back of the net eight times in the Championship this term.

The powerful forward has quickly become a key figure in Derby’s attack, combining strength, composure and clinical finishing in front of goal.

Only Coventry City’s Brendan Thomas-Asante has scored more goals (9) than Morris this season in the second tier and, with his confidence growing each week, the 29-year-old is tipped to add to his tally when the Rams take to the pitch again on Tuesday against the Tigers.
