The less said about the weekend's Championship Predictions the better. I recorded the only correct score of the weekend but still managed just five points overall. Luckily for us we quickly head into some midweek action, so hopefully we can only get better.

Check out our predictions for Gameweek 20 below.

Blackburn vs Oxford (Tue 19:45) - 2-1 @ 7/1

For the second time this season, Blackburn Rovers saw a home game abandoned because of the weather, whilst again holding a 1-0 lead. While their rematch with Sheffield Wednesday is yet to be scheduled, Rovers will be hoping they can get through the entirety of their contest against Oxford United.

The U's head here after a 2-0 defeat at Swansea City and four defeats from their previous six away matches in the second tier. It seems a good opportunity for the hosts to pick up a rare three points at Ewood Park.

Nick: 1-1

Simon: 1-1

Charlton vs Middlesbrough (Tue 19:45) - 1-3 @ 16/1

Charlton Athletic's game with Portsmouth at the weekend was abandoned after a fan was taken ill and sadly passed away. The Addicks return to The Valley on what is expected to be an emotional night against Middlesbrough.

The hosts have lost four in a row and Boro are on a two-game winning streak, with the latest a thumping 4-1 at Hull City. An away win, I think.

Nick: 1-1

Simon: 1-2

Championship Odds

Preston vs Coventry (Tue 19:45) - 1-1 @ 11/2

Preston North End came from behind to draw at home to Wrexham last time out and up next for them is league leaders Coventry City. The Sky Blues suffered a 3-0 defeat at Ipswich Town on Saturday, just their second of the season.

Frank Lampard's side may be feeling vulnerable here and Preston may sense an opportunity as Ipswich have proven Cov to be mortal after all. Games between these two teams here tend to be tight, so I think a draw seems appropriate.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 0-1

Sheff Utd vs Norwich (Tue 19:45) - 3-0 @ 12/1

Sheffield United are really starting to gain some momentum. The Blades have won four league games on the spin, scoring 13 goals in the process, the latest a 4-0 hammering of Stoke City.

Chris Wilder's side host struggling Norwich City, who threw away two leads to lose at Watford on Saturday. The Canaries are in a mess right now and Sheffield United can profit from that.

Nick: 3-1

Simon: 3-0

Southampton vs West Brom (Tue 19:45) - 3-1 @ 14/1

Will Still's stock is decreasing with each win Southampton record in the Championship. The Saints have won five from six since ditching Still and they were 3-1 victors at home to Birmingham City on Saturday.

Up next for them is another club from the West Midlands in West Bromwich Albion, who lost at Queens Park Rangers last time out. Southampton are riding a wave at the moment and I think Albion are going to get swept away.

Nick: 2-0

Simon: 4-1

Swansea vs Portsmouth (Tue 19:45) - 2-0 @ 17/2

Swansea won a crunch three points at home to Oxford at the weekend, and they will look to build on that against fellow strugglers Portsmouth to give themselves some more breathing room from the relegation zone.

Pompey have lost two in a row and three of their last four, so this is an opportunity the Swans cannot afford to miss.

Simon: 2-0

Nick: 2-1

Football Odds

Watford vs Sheff Wed (Tue 19:45) - 3-0 @ 10/1

Watford showed great determination to come from behind twice to defeat Norwich City 3-2 at Vicarage Road on Saturday. The Hornets will hope for more home success when they host Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.

The Owls have lost four in a row in the second tier and I think they are set for more pain here.

Nick: 2-0

Simon: 3-0

QPR vs Birmingham (Tue 20:00) - 2-1 @ 9/1

QPR will look to build on Saturday's win over West Brom when they host Birmingham. The Blues remain an enigma as they are absolutely brilliant at home but terrible on their travels.

Boss Chris Davies has something to figure out because his team are not effective on the road when they are set up to play the way they do at St. Andrew's. The Rs are gunning for a third consecutive home win and they should accomplish that.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 1-1

QPR vs Birmingham City - Correct Score

Bristol City vs Leicester (Wed 19:45) - 1-1 @ 5/1

Bristol City were left frustrated as they were denied a late equaliser at home to Millwall on Saturday and the Robins now face a tough home game with Leicester City, who were 3-1 winners at Derby County last time out.

The Foxes showed great improvement from their Sheffield United defeat but they can be quite inconsistent on their travels, which is also the case for the hosts at Ashton Gate. I'm sitting on the fence with a draw.

Nick: 1-1

Simon: 1-1

Derby vs Millwall (Wed 19:45) - 1-1 @ 5/1

Derby were stunned by Leicester and the Rams will look to get back on track as they host Millwall at Pride Park on Wednesday. The hosts have now lost two home games on the bounce, while the Lions have one of the best away records in the division.

Derby are missing top scorer Carlton Morris but they do have the squad to dig deep and pick up a respectable point here.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 0-0

Ipswich vs Stoke (Wed 19:45) - 3-1 @ 12/1

Ipswich are starting to come alive and their win over Coventry has fired a warning to the rest of the division. The Tractor Boys host Stoke City, who were thrashed at Sheffield United on their last appearance.

The Potters have now lost four of their previous five outings in the Championship and I do think they will fall to another defeat when they head to Portman Road.

Nick: 3-1

Simon: 4-1

Hull vs Wrexham (Wed 20:00) - 2-3 @ 28/1

Hull City were humiliated at home by Boro on Friday and they will look to deliver an instant response when Wrexham come to town. The Red Dragons were denied an impressive win at Preston last time out but they will sense an opportunity on Humberside.

Games involving the Tigers tend to produce a lot of goals, so I am backing a high-scoring contest, to be won by the visitors.

Nick: 1-2

Simon: 2-2
