Championship Relegation Odds: Final day previewed by Sportsman Untitled pundits

The Sportsman Untitled, a weekly Championship YouTube show, returned this week as your host Simon Lillibury (that’s me), was joined by EFL expert Gab Sutton and Justin Peach from the Second Tier Podcast.
The trio discuss all the important things in the second tier, including the battle for the play-offs and the chaos at the bottom of the league. With just one gameweek to go, there is so much to play for, and here are the current relegation odds.
Championship Relegation Odds 2024/25
The relegation battle rightly takes most of the attention this week as it is truly something to behold. Cardiff City saw their relegation to League 1 confirmed and Plymouth Argyle will certainly join them in the third-tier, unless they pull off a miraculous win by at least 14 goals against Leeds, and hope other results go their way.
Unsurprisingly, Betfred don’t have them priced up for relegation anymore, while Hull are the favourites to join those two in League 1 next term. The Tigers currently sit in that dreaded 22nd position, having lost late on to Derby County last time out. They face a tough trip to Fratton Park to take on already-safe Portsmouth, knowing that a defeat would see them relegation.
A draw however, will be enough if either Preston North End or Luton Town lose, given those two clubs have a worse goal difference than the Tigers. Preston are in dreadful form having lost their last four matches, and they face a tough trip to play-off chasing Bristol City, who need to win to guarantee their place in the top six. They have slipped into this relegation battle and don't seem to be able to halt their slide, so they may provide the best value.
Meanwhile, Luton Town have won their last three matches and travel to the Hawthorns to take on a West Brom outfit with nothing to play for, and interim manager James Morrison in charge. They will fancy their chances of staying up, with both them and Preston knowing a win would be enough to secure survival.
The same can be said for both Derby County and Stoke City, who meet at Pride Park. It feels as though a draw would suit both teams here, although having said that, a freak set of results such as Hull, Luton and Preston all winning would see Derby relegated with a draw. Stoke are already on 50 points but they have a poor goal difference that could come into play if they lose at Derby.
At the top end of the table, Millwall, Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City, Middlesbrough and Bristol City are all gunning for the play-offs on what should be a dramatic final day, while they also discuss the EFL Awards that were handed out. The Untitled boys give their final table predictions at the end of the show, while they will also be returning with a comprehensive play-off preview next week.
