PSG vs Arsenal Bet Builder: John Barnes’ 50/1 Boosted Treble

When we asked him whether a win here would make him one of the best managers in Premier League history, he wasn’t completely sold as yet:

“Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola have won multiple Premier League titles as well as the Champions League, so if Mikel Arteta wins one Premier League and one Champions League, it’s not going to put him immediately up there with them.

“It will be unfair to judge him now anyway because he could potentially do that in the next four or five years and then you could say he’s right up there with the best of them, but right now he’s only won one Premier League.”

We asked him whether PSG were the favourites for the Final on Saturday and he thought they were:

“Yes they are, but anything can happen. PSG are very consistent, but Arsenal are a very good team as well, so on a one-off anything can happen. Even though I think PSG are the favourites, it wouldn’t surprise me if Arsenal won.”

Therefore, picking a Correct Score of 2-1 to the French Champions makes a lot of sense. It is a bold selection but really does boost the final price.

His second selection was picking the wonderful Georgian left-winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to find the back of the net anytime. The 25-year-old has been a sensational signing for PSG and is undoubtedly one of the best players to watch as a fan.

He’s scored 22 times in all competitions this season including in five of the eight matches in the knockout phase of this competition.

Rounding out John Barnes’ treble is Ousmane Dembélé to have 2+ Shots on Target.

The French international striker has amassed 40 SoT across all competitions this season and has saved his best performances for the Champions League.

In the knockout stages, he’s started six matches and recorded nine and in every round, in one of the legs, he’s hit the 2+ mark.

Since the turn of the year, in matches where he’s played at least 70 minutes, he’s only failed to record at least two Shots on Target twice out of ten occasions. So if he stays on the pitch for the majority of the match, this looks a good shout from John Barnes.
