The big Liverpool team news is that Mohamed Salah has not travelled to Milan. The 33-year-old has been benched for the last three games, only coming off the bench in one, and his decision to seek out reporters after Saturday's 3-3 draw at Leeds United and complain about his treatment has come at a cost, with Arne Slot leaving the Egyptian star on Merseyside.

Cody Gakpo (unspecified) has been ruled out for a few weeks with an injury, while Federico Chiesa (illness) has also stayed in Liverpool, although Slot didn't rule out the possibility of the Italian catching a late flight should he recover in time.
