Last month, Galatasaray secured a famous 1-0 Uefa Champions League victory over Liverpool at Rams Park, which is the venue for their next league phase match, against Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday (17:45 BST, TNT Sports 10). The Norwegian visitors are yet to pick up a win, but they are unbeaten, drawing their first two contests 2-2.

Below are my Galatasaray vs Bodo/Glimt predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

Galatasaray vs Bodo/Glimt Betting Tips

  • Bet Builder - Leroy Sane (GAL) 1+ Shots on Target & Fredrik Sjovold (BOD) 1+ Shots on Target @ 5/1
  • Anytime Goalscorer - Jens Petter Hauge (BOD) @ 10/3

Team News

Wilfred Singo (hamstring) was withdrawn in the 26th minute of Galatasaray's 1-1 draw with Besiktas on October 4, and the Ivorian defender remains in the Lions' treatment room.

Victor Osimhen, aiming to become the first player in club history to score in seven consecutive European matches, is likely to replace Mauro Icardi in attack after beginning Saturday's 2-1 win at Istanbul Basaksehir on the bench.

Ismail Jakobs, Mario Lemina and Yunus Akgun could also earn promotions to Okan Buruk's starting XI.

Football Odds

Bodo/Glimt, meanwhile, are likely to be without Ola Brynhildsen (knee) and Ulrik Saltnes (illness).

Galatasaray vs Bodo/Glimt Predicted Lineups

  • Galatasaray: Cakir; Sallai, Sanchez, Bardakci, Jakobs; Lemina, Torreira; Akgun, Gundogan, Sane; Osimhen
  • Bodo/Glimt: Haikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Aleesami, Bjorkan; Berg, Fet, Auklend; Evjen, Hogh, Hauge

Galatasaray vs Bodo/Glimt Odds

Galatasaray won their first four home games this season before being held at Rams Park by Besiktas (1-1) on October 4. The Lions are 4/7 to return to winning ways at home on Wednesday, implying a 63.6% probability of success, while Bodo/Glimt, winless in their last eight European away matches (D2, L6), are 9/2, or an 18.2% chance, to stun their Turkish hosts in Istanbul.

A third draw of the league phase for Kjetil Knutsen's side is priced at 18/5, and a third consecutive 2-2 scoreline can be backed at 11/1.

Galatasaray vs Bodo/Glimt Stats

  • Sane (GAL) bagged a brace in Saturday's 2-1 win at Basaksehir
  • Sjovold (BOD) has found the net in his last two appearances
  • Hauge (BOD) scored twice in his side's last UCL game (2-2 v Spurs)

Bet Builder - Leroy Sane (GAL) 1+ Shots on Target & Fredrik Sjovold (BOD) 1+ Shots on Target @ 5/1

Leroy Sane only scored once in his first nine appearances for Gala, but the Germany international trebled his tally last Saturday, scoring both goals in his side's 2-1 Super Lig win at Istanbul Basaksehir.

The 29-year-old should start again on Wednesday, making him one of the standout candidates in the 'Player Shots on Target' markets.

Sane averaged 0.8 shots on target per game in last season's Champions League for Bayern Munich, hitting the target eight times across four league phase home matches (at least once in each).

Today's Football Fixtures

A less obvious selection, but someone providing terrific value, is Glimt right-back Fredrik Sjovold.

The 22-year-old is yet to even record a shot in this season's Champions League, and an average of 0.3 shots on target per game in his domestic league doesn't exactly instil confidence.

However, he has scored three goals in 24 Eliteserien appearances, and two have come in his last two games, so he's a man high on confidence right now.

I'm backing Sjovold to take that confidence into Wednesday's match in Istanbul, at least forcing Gala goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir into a save.

Anytime Goalscorer - Jens Petter Hauge (BOD) @ 10/3

I know Gala kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Liverpool last month, but they've conceded in their last two games, a 1-1 home draw with Besiktas and a 2-1 win at Basaksehir, and shipped five goals in a 5-1 humbling at Eintracht Frankfurt on September 18.

Glimt, meanwhile, have scored in their last 25 matches, including twice in their first two league phase contests in the Champions League, drawing 2-2 with both Slavia Prague (A) and Tottenham Hotspur (H).

So, backing both teams to score feels like the obvious selection here, but at 1/2, we're not getting much bang for our buck. Therefore, I'm delving into the anytime goalscorer market and picking out a visiting player that I think has a strong chance of finding the net in Istanbul.

Jens Petter Hauge is the standout candidate, in my opinion, at 10/3.

Four Glimt players are ahead of Hauge in the market, despite the 26-year-old scoring in six of his last eight appearances, netting seven times.

Hauge's brace in that run came in Glimt's last European outing, the 2-2 draw with Spurs on September 30, when he put his side two goals ahead, only for their Premier League counterparts to stage a comeback.

The former AC Milan winger's confidence should be through the roof right now, so 10/3 for him to score anytime on Wednesday provides excellent value, in my opinion.
