Champions League Draw Odds: Arsenal strong favourites for first European crown

The draw for the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League has taken place and now we can plot each team's route to the final. With six English teams involved, all will be hoping to go deep into the competition, but having drawn Bayern Leverkusen, Arsenal will be feeling particularly confident of progressing.
They are now the 5/2 favourites to win their first Champions League title, and you can find the rest of the odds down below, following the Champions League Draw.
Champions League Outright Odds
The headline tie has to be Real Madrid vs Manchester City. The 15-time European champions have already lost to City this season, 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, and these two have been common foes in recent years, meeting in two tense semi-finals since 2021.
Real Madrid seem to be good value at 12/1 to win the entire competition, while Man City are 7/1 to repeat their 2023 European triumph.

Arsenal’s kind draw, not just against Bayer Leverkusen in the last 16 but in terms of their route to the final, has strengthened their claim as the 5/2 favourites. Should they progress to the quarters, they will face Sporting CP, or the surprise package so far, Bodo/Glimt.
They’ll be big favourites to make it to the semi-final, where Barcelona could lie in wait. Barca thrilled us last year on their way to a semi-final exit to Inter Milan, and this year they will have to beat Newcastle United to progress to the last eight. Barcelona are the 5/1 second favourites to win the Champions League this season, while Newcastle are 25/1 to go all the way - along with Chelsea.
Full Champions League Round of 16 Draw
- Real Madrid vs Manchester City
- Bodo/Glimt vs Sporting CP
- PSG vs Chelsea
- Newcastle vs Barcelona
- Galatasaray vs Liverpool
- Atletico Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur
- Atalanta vs Bayern Munich
- Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal
The Blues have seen their odds lengthen having been drawn against PSG, despite the fact that they hammered the Parisians in the Club World Cup final in the United States of America last summer. PSG are 8/1 to retain their Champions League title they won last season in emphatic fashion, and that could prove to be good value.
Liverpool have been pitted against Galatasaray and the winner of that tie will face either PSG or Chelsea, so you can understand why the Reds are out at 9/1. That side of the draw, also including Real Madrid, Man City, Atalanta and Bayern Munich, looks to be the more difficult of the two, with Harry Kane’s Bayern now 9/2 to win the title.
His former club, Tottenham Hotspur, are struggling in the Premier League, but they could provide themselves with some relief against Atletico Madrid. Atleti are 20/1, while if you fancy a massive shock, Spurs are 40/1 to follow up their Europa League triumph with Champions League glory.
