Matchday two of this season’s Champions League is on Tuesday’s agenda and with Bodo/Glimt playing host to Tottenham at the Aspmyra Stadion, it means a repeat of last season’s Europa League semi-final pairing. The visitors won 2-0 here in May, the hosts will be keen to exact revenge.

While the visitors will be keen to not only build on their narrow win over Villarreal on Matchday one but they will be keen to bounce back after being held by lowly Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday. A domestic diversion on Saturday, now Thomas Frank and his players will aim for a positive European excursion.

Here are my two tips and my Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Hotspur predictions for Betfred Insights...

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Hotspur Betting Tips

Team News

Bodo/Glimt started their 2025/26 Champions League campaign with a 2-2 draw in Prague and after going two goals down to hosts Slavia it took a spirited late comeback in order for Kjetil Knutsen's side to share the points at the Fortuna Arena. Two goals in the last 10 minutes making sure they did not return to Norway empty handed.

Kasper Waarts Hogh was not one of the goalscorers that evening but the recent trip to Prague was a rare blank for the 24-year-old. With 21 league appearances this season – of which 19 have been starts, the forward has scored 16 goals and will be tasked with creating torment for Tottenham's defence.

Since Tottenham last set foot in Norway, they have won the Europa League, sacked a manager and appointed a new one. A lot of change in the space of just four months but not a lot of change when it comes to playing personnel for their second Champions League outing of the season.

On paper manager Thomas Frank does have plenty of attacking options but in reality, that is currently not the case. Dominic Solanke missed training at the start of the week and Randall Kolo Muani is still reportedly suffering from a dead leg. Therefore, Richarlison is expected to start through the middle once again.

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineups

  • Bodo/Glimt - Haikin, Sjovold, Aleesami, Bjortuft, Moe; Auklend, Evjen, Berg; Hauge, Jorgensen; Hogh.
  • Tottenham – Vicario; Porro, Van de Ven, Romero, Spence; Bentancur, Bergvall, Sarr; Kudus, Simons, Richarlison

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Odds

Bodo/Glimt are priced at 11/5 to win this game, with Tottenham the favourites at 23/20. That gives the away team an implied win probability of 46.5% while a draw can be backed at 11/4.

BTTS has been priced at 1/2 and over 2.5 goals is 4/7, while Richarlison is the favourite to score first at 9/2.

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Hotspur Stats

  • The two teams met in last season’s Europa League semi-finals with Tottenham winning 4-1 on aggregate.
  • The hosts are unbeaten in each of their last 12 Eliteserien league matches and are second in the table with a game in hand.

Tottenham to win (2-Up market) @ 1/1

Although Bodo/Glimt are in a rich vein of league form right now, an unbeaten streak in the Eliteserien does not hold the same value as in some of Europe’s more elite competitions and after Tottenham won here 2-0 back in May, I think another victory for the North London outfit is soon to be on the cards.

While it is another two-goal margin that grabs my attention and instead of simply backing the win in 90 minutes for Spurs, I think the value can be found in something slightly more comprehensive. If Tuesday’s visitors find themselves with this particular sized margin, a return of Evens is on the cards and if Thomas Frank’s men collapse from there, the win is still thankfully locked in.

Over 3.5 goals @ 11/8

Not only does a two-goal margin tick off the first tip of the evening but it also goes a long way in ticking off the second. With this in mind, I also like the look of over 3.5 total goals on Tuesday and the underlying numbers will help back up this decision – especially when looking at Bodo/Glimt’s

The hosts have scored 34 league goals at the Aspmyra Stadion this season and this equates to 3.09 per game. Admittedly there is an element of ‘Eliteserien tax’ added on but it does show that the hosts have no issues when it comes to scoring goals. Add this to Tottenham’s own attacking ability and a total of four or more at 11/8 is worth some consideration.
