Bayern Munich vs PSG Prediction: Can Conor follow up his clean sweep from the first leg?

After a pulsating nine-goal first leg in Paris, Bayern Munich welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday (20:00 BST, TNT Sports 1) in the Uefa Champions League semi-finals. Les Parisiens have a one-goal advantage but they face a battle holding on to it in Munich.

Team News

Serge Gnabry (thigh), Tom Bischof and Sven Ulreich (both muscle) are ruled out for Bayern Munich. Lennart Karl will be hoping to get the green light to return to the squad following a thigh injury.

Manuel Neuer, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich, Michael Olise, Luis Diaz and Harry Kane were all named on the bench in Saturday's Bundesliga draw with Heidenheim and all are expected to be restored to the XI on Wednesday.

PSG may have won the first leg, but it came at a cost. Their star full-back, Achraf Hakimi, had to be withdrawn with a hamstring problem. The Morocco international now faces a few weeks on the sidelines.

Warren Zaire-Emery should deputise at right-back, meaning we could see last season's Champions League-winning midfield of Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha and Joao Neves restored.

Reserve goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (hand) is the visitors' only other absentee.

Bayern are the 4/6 favourites to win this match inside regulation time, and they have won all six of their home fixtures in the UCL this term.

The draw can be backed at 4/1, which was Die Roten's outcome in their last outing against Heidenheim.

PSG are 11/4 to come out on top inside 90 minutes as they gun for a fourth straight away success in Europe.

Both clubs are priced at 5/6 to win the tie.

Having landed both picks last week, I'm feeling the pressure ahead of Wednesday's tussle at the Allianz. I was confident that we would see a lot of goals in Paris and we were treated to nine.

I backed Over 4.5 Goals that time but I'm going one further for the second leg with Over 5.5, which is priced at 5/2 (implied probability of 28.6%). I think the two sides proved last week that they have the best attacks in Europe with the attacking quality we witnessed.

This selection offers great value to punters because there have been at least six goals scored in each of Bayern's previous three competitive outings, as well as three of their pst five UCL fixtures.

It has also been a successful bet in two of PSG's last five matches in this competition.

Anytime Goalscorer - Michael Olise @ 5/4

Olise dazzled in the first leg and I would say he came out on top in the battle with PSG left-back Nuno Mendes. The France international scored a rocket in that game and he could have easily left with a brace but was denied in a one-on-one opportunity.

The former Crystal Palace man has now scored in three consecutive appearances for Bayern and I think 5/4 is a good price for him to find the net on home turf on Wednesday.
