Fasten your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen because the Uefa Champions League semi-finals are here. On Tuesday, we get to witness the first leg of the box office tie between defending champions Paris-Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich at Parc des Princes (20:00 BST, Prime Video).

Team News

Despite being withdrawn at Anfield in the second leg of their quarter-final tie against Liverpool, PSG duo Desire Doue and Nuno Mendes have since returned to the squad, so they are expected to be involved on Tuesday.

Vitinha is a doubt to feature because of a heel issue he picked up against Lyon. The midfielder had been training alone before the weekend. Fabian Ruiz could be in line to start this clash having recently returned from a two-moth lay-off.

Bayern boss Vincent Kompany will have to watch this contest from the stands following the yellow card he picked up against Real Madrid two weeks ago.

Serge Gnabry (thigh), Tom Bischof and Sven Ulreich (both muscle) are ruled out for the visitors. Lennart Karl faces a late fitness call following a period out with a torn thigh muscle.

Joshua Kimmich and Dayot Upamecano were handed rests against Mainz in the Bundesliga over the weekend and both are anticipated to return to the defence on Tuesday night.

PSG have won four of their seven home games in the Champions League this season and they are a 13/10 shot to win this first leg.

Two of those clashes have been draws, with the stalemate here marketed at 3/1.

Bayern are a 7/4 (implied probability of 36.4%) bet to pick up a second victory at Parc des Princes in 2025/26.

For Bayern, at least five goals have been scored in four of their 12 fixtures in this competition, but three of them have come across their previous four.

With the star-studded talent on both teams, goals should flow in Paris.

Someone who can play a key role in helping this game to have a flurry of goals is Harry Kane. The Bayern striker is having a phenomenal season having scored 53 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Twelve of them have come in the Champions League in just 11 outings. Only Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe (15) currently has more than Kane, but with the Frenchman out of the picture, the Bayern front man has at least two games to equal or surpass Mbappe's total.

Kane comes into this contest having bagged four goals in his last three Champions League games.
