Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid Odds
Barcelona to win
As mentioned in the introduction, the pair duelled last Saturday, although that was against a weakened Atleti outfit as they've nothing to play for in La Liga.
Both sides are sensational at home, as displayed by last month's Copa del Rey semi-finals between the two sides - Atleti won the first leg 4-0 at Estadio Metropolitano, and Barca won the second leg 3-0 at Camp Nou.
Diego Simeone's men will be looking to stay in the tie in this first leg, but a home win looks likely given that Barcelona have won 22 of their last 23 home games across all competitions.
Both teams to score - yes
The hosts are defensively fragile, however, and I fancy Atletico to get on the scoresheet on Wednesday night.
Barca have failed to keep clean sheets at home in this season's Champions League, meaning that the likes of Olympiakos, Eintracht Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Newcastle United have all come to Camp Nou and scored. With the attacking talent Simone has at his disposal, it's hard to see the visitors failing to score here.
Lamine Yamal to score anytime
Barca's wonderkid has scored 21 goals across all competitions this term, which is three better than last season's tally.
While he didn't score in the recent victory over Atleti, Barca's number 10 was easily the best player on the pitch, creating five chances and having seven shots. In addition, Yamal has scored five goals across his eight starts in the Champions League this term.
The young Spaniard is also on penalty duty for Barca, which can also serve as a route to goal if he can't find the back of the net from open play.
Koke to be shown a card anytime
Veteran midfielder Koke has been a key lieutenant for Simeone during his time at Atleti, making over 700 appearances for the club.
The 34-year-old has accumulated the most bookings in La Liga this term with five, including one in the loss to Barca at the weekend, where he was then subsequently substituted with this fixture in mind.
Koke hasn't received a caution so far in this season's Champions League, but there's a first time for everything, isn't there?
