The visitors will be playing one of their games in hand over many of the opponents surrounding them near the top of the table, and this could be huge in their push for promotion.

Bolton to win at EVS

When you're pushing for promotion and you have games in hand on your rivals, the pressure can get to you. It doesn't seem to be the case for Bolton under Ian Evat, who are unbeaten in their last three, winning two of them.

They were forced to settle for a point against fellow promotion hopefuls Barnsley last time out but they will be taking on a side much lower down the table in Cambridge.

This will be the first meeting between the two sides this term but the Trotters have an abundance of quality in their ranks and they should take full advantage of this first game in hand and bag a valuable three points.

Aaron Collins to score anytime at 12/5

Speaking of Bolton's quality, they secured the services of League One Player of the Season for 2022-23 Aaron Collins in January from Bristol Rovers. He will bolster Evatt's forward line and he had an impact on his debut against Barnsley as he provided the assist for Zac Ashworth.

While his stats this year in front of goal (three) have not been as good as last term (16), he still has bags of quality, and being in a much stronger squad in Bolton will help him increase his returns.

That's why we think he offers great value to open his account for his new club against Cambridge.
