Burnley welcome Fulham to Turf Moor this weekend, after both teams were beaten by the same 2-1 scoreline last time out.

The Clarets are currently marooned in the relegation zone as we hurtle towards the midway point of the Premier League season, with only winless Wolves sitting beneath them. Fulham sit just two points ahead of Saturday evening’s opponents, but appear to be slowly rediscovering their form following a tough start to the campaign. Check out our Burnley vs. Fulham Stats-Based Bet Builder Tips below.

Fulham to win

Although they were beaten in each of their last two Premier League outings, Fulham were unlucky not to take a share of the spoils in each instance.

After bravely fighting back to almost clinch a draw in a nine-goal thriller with Man City, Marco Silva’s men were undone by Marc Guéhi’s late header last Saturday and before these two successive home defeats, the West Londoners won three of their previous four league meetings.

Meanwhile, Burnley have registered just three league victories all season, overcoming fellow newly-promoted outfits Sunderland and Leeds United before edging past rock-bottom Wolves.

October’s 3-2 triumph at Molineux was the last time Scott Parker’s side earned any points, with an immediate return to the Championship looking increasingly likely.

Under 2.5 Goals

This clash is unlikely to produce much in the way of goalmouth action, with both teams lacking a clinical edge in the final third.

In addition to being the third-lowest scorers in the division, only five of Burnley’s 16 Premier League goals have been scored at Turf Moor. Despite struggling as an attacking force, the Lancashire-based outfit have conceded just ten times on home soil across all competitions, suggesting at least a reasonable degree of defensive solidity.

Fulham tend to be far more shot-shy at away venues than they are at Craven Cottage, having only netted six goals on the road all season.

Burnley vs Fulham Stats

  • Burnley are currently on a run of six consecutive defeats
  • Only 12 Premier League goals have been scored at Turf Moor so far this season
  • Harry Wilson is Fulham’s current top scorer with four goals
  • Burley and Wolves are the only two Premier League teams to have been awarded fewer than 50 corners

Harry Wilson to score anytime

Having registered two goals and one assist in his last three Premier League appearances, Harry Wilson will be confident of making another decisive impact this weekend.

The Wales international curled home an intelligent long-range effort to double Fulham’s lead over Spurs at the beginning of the month, before netting a sensational equaliser against Palace.

He also scored two goals earlier on in the season, helping his team secure wins over Brentford and Wolves during the Autumn.

Home Team: Under 4.5 Corners

Given the limited amount of time they spend in their opponent’s defensive third, Burnley’s corner count is typically quite low.

The Clarets have only taken 49 corners in their opening 15 Premier League matches, an average of less than four per game.

The last meeting between Burnley and Fulham at Turf Moor produced a total of 15 corners and only two of these were awarded to the hosts.
