Fulham had to settle for a goalless draw at home to Everton in midweek and will be desperate to gain only their second away win of the season at struggling Burnley on Saturday.

The Clarets posted a 2-0 victory at Craven Cottage in December, but Vincent Kompany’s side are still deep in relegation trouble following their 3-1 loss at champions Manchester City on Wednesday.

Burnley vs Fulham Betting Tips

  • Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5
  • #PickYourPunt - Joao Palhinha to be booked, under 9.5 corners & Zeki Amdouni to have a shot on target @ 13/2

Team News

Luca Koleosho and Nathan Redmond are both out long-term for the Clarets, while Charlie Taylor is struggling with a shoulder injury.

Harry Wilson is doubtful with a similar issue for the Cottagers, while Raul Jimenez and Issa Diop both have hamstring injuries and are doubtful.

Adam Traore is still out and both Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey are at the Africa Cup of Nations, but new loan signing Armando Broja could be thrown straight in up front after making a temporary move from Chelsea.

Match Odds

Fulham are 7/5 to claim their second Premier League away win of the season, while Burnley are 2/1 to ensure they do the double over the Cottagers following their December success in London.

The draw can be backed at 23/10 and it is 8/11 that both teams score.

Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5

Confidence is likely to be in short supply in both of these camps, so it seems unlikely that they will serve up a thriller on Saturday.

Fulham have failed to score in their last three away games and, while they have netted 28 times in 22 league games this term, ten of those goals came in two successive 5-0 home wins over Nottingham Forest and West Ham in early December.

Armando Broja has been brought in on loan to help rectify that situation, but he may not have an immediate impact for a team who have not posted an away league success since a 1-0 win at Everton on the opening weekend.

Burnley, meanwhile, have been poor at their Lancashire base.

Their four home points have come against the two teams who were also promoted from the Championship - Luton and Sheffield United - and their 5-0 win over the Blades has been the only occasion in their last eight at home where they have scored more than once, so backing under 2.5 goals looks a solid bet.

Under 2.5 goals at 4/5

#PickYourPunt - Joao Palhinha to be booked, under 9.5 corners & Zeki Amdouni to have a shot on target @ 13/2

There are three selections for the Turf Moor clash that can be combined for a #PickYourPunt bet that will pay out at 13/2 if it is successful.

The first element is to back Fulham’s Joao Palhinha to be booked, which has happened in nine of his Premier League appearances this season, including the December meeting between these two sides which ended in a 2-0 win for the Clarets.

This could be a game where there are few corners, so going under a total of 9.5 in the encounter could be a sensible option.

While Burnley’s home average of 6.27 per game is respectable, Fulham may not contribute that much as their figure per match on the road is just 3.45.

Clarets striker Zeki Amdouni has had 17 shots on target this season, which is almost double the number of any of his team-mates.

Recent goals against Aston Villa and Luton should have given him a boost and he should be expected to muster at least one goal-bound effort.
