Chelsea travel to Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday at 3pm, looking to build on their 2-0 win over Fulham last time out. The Clarets picked up their first win of the season at Luton Town on Tuesday which could be a turning point for Vincent Kompany’s side.

We have picked out some of the best markets on offer for this clash at Turf Moor.

Burnley vs Chelsea Betting Tips

  • Lyle Foster to score anytime – 11/4
  • Chelsea and both teams to score (Yes) – 23/10

Team news

Burnley’s only two absentees right now are Michael Obafemi and Hjalmar Ekdal. Kompany has no fresh injury concerns from the squad that defeated Luton.

Chelsea are without a few players heading into this one. Ben Chilwell has been ruled out for a couple of months with a hamstring problem. Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, Christopher Nkunku and Wesley Fofana are also injured.

Malo Gusto is still serving his suspension, while Mykhailo Mudryk will be assessed ahead of the weekend after being forced off at half-time against Fulham.

Lyle Foster to score anytime @ 11/4

Burnley were significantly boosted by Lyle Foster’s return from suspension in the six-pointer against Luton in the week. The South African netted his third goal of the season to get the Clarets up and running in an important match, and it was clear just how much they had missed him in their previous two league fixtures.

While Burnley haven’t had the best of starts to the season, Foster has been brilliant. His goals have given his team hope and before he was sent off for a reckless elbow at Nottingham Forest, he saw a goal chalked off by VAR for an extremely harsh handball call on Sander Berge.

Foster is Burnley’s biggest goal threat and his presence in the team always gives Kompany’s men a chance of getting on the scoresheet. Chelsea turned in a good performance at Fulham on Monday night, but their defenders weren’t really troubled. Foster will ensure that they are kept busy for as long as he’s on the pitch.

Chelsea and both teams to score (Yes) @ 23/10

While we are expecting Foster and Burnley to cause Chelsea some problems on Saturday, it is difficult to see it being too troubling for Mauricio Pochettino’s side if they play like they did against the Cottagers.

Chelsea played some of the best football we’ve seen from them in a long time, and while Fulham were passengers in the game, credit must be given to the Blues’ attackers for how they imposed themselves at Craven Cottage.

Mudryk getting off the mark in the Premier League will be great for his confidence, while Cole Palmer appeared to have settled in nicely on the right side of the attack. Captain and energetic midfielder Conor Gallagher gave a sublime performance at both ends, and he is a player who deserves to get his first goal of the campaign.

Rhythm looks to be building for the Blues and if they can continue playing this exciting football at pace, then it might just be too much for Burnley to handle.
