Team News
Stuttgart are currently missing centre-backs Dan-Axel Zagadou and Luca Jaquez due to tendon and hamstring injuries respectively. They may also be without the services of Ameen Al Dakhil because of illness. This could lead to Finn Jeltsch and Julian Chabot forming a defensive pairing on Tuesday evening.
Attacking players Lazar Jovanovic and Tiago Tomas are also sidelined, while Bilal El Khannous is at the Africa Cup of Nations.
For Frankfurt, Michy Batshuayi is working his way back from a broken ankle, and fellow striker Jonathan Burkardt is recovering from a calf problem. So Ansgar Knauff is set to feature in attack for Die Adler.
Can Uzun and Ritsu Doan are likely to offer attacking support, with left-sided forward Jean-Matteo Bahoya set to be kept out by illness.
Defender Elias Baumn is still around a month away from recovering from his cruciate ligament injury.

Stuttgart vs Eintracht Frankfurt Odds
Stuttgart have won five of their seven home league games this term and they are 5/6 (implied probability of 54.5%) to win this contest.
Frankfurt have posted back-to-back stalemates heading into this clash and the draw is on offer at 11/4. The visitors are 3/1 to collect the three points.
BTTS - Yes has struck in each of Frankfurt's previous 10 road trips in the Bundesliga, and it is priced at 8/15 on this occasion.
Stuttgart vs Eintracht Frankfurt Stats
- Four of Stuttgart's nine league wins have seen both teams score
- Deniz Undav (STU) has nine goals in 12 league matches this term
Match Result & Both Teams To Score - Stuttgart & Yes @ 2/1
Stuttgart's latest victory against Leverkusen pulled them level with Die Werkself in fourth and RB Leipzig in third - although the latter do have a game in hand. Stuttgart have put themselves firmly in the race for a top-four finish, which will of course secure Uefa Champions League football.
Die Roten have one of the best home records in the division, so they should be feeling confident ahead of their midweek tussle with Frankfurt, who have managed just one victory in their past five appearances in the top flight.
With two wins from three, including a seismic win against Leverkusen, Stuttgart have got a lot of momentum behind them here. They have been productive in the final third, too, with those two triumphs producing eight goals equally between them.
I do see Eintracht getting in on the action, though, as BTTS - Yes has struck in their previous two matches in the league, with the latest being a 3-3 draw at home to Borussia Dortmund.

Anytime Goalscorer - Deniz Undav @ 21/20
Stuttgart striker Deniz Undav is having another roaring campaign. The former Brighton & Hove Albion forward has bagged nine goals in 12 Bundesliga games already in 2026/26, with eight of them coming across the last eight games.
He played a key role in the victory over Leverkusen, with one goal and two assists. The German international will no doubt be primed to play the leading man once again against Frankfurt, whom he has scored three time against in as many Bundesliga appearances.
In a game that can strengthen Stuttgart's top-four credentials and increase the gap on Frankfurt in seventh, I am expecting the centre-forward to step up and deliver.
