Koln vs Bayern Munich Prediction: Another big win for the league leaders

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich travel to Koln on Wednesday (19:30 GMT, Sky Sports+) as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign. Vincent Kompany's side are gunning for a third-straight win in the top flight.
The hosts are winless in their previous seven outings in the league. My Koln vs Bayern Munich predictions can be found below, aided by the latest match odds and team news.

Team News
Koln are set to go with a midfield pairing of Isak Bergmann Johannesson and Denis Huseinbasic with Eric Martel unavailable due to suspension.
Luca Kilian is close to returning from a knee injury but this game looks like it will come too soon for him.
Sebastian Sebulonsen, Tom Krauss and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey are set to line up in defence for the hosts.
Bayern's Serge Gnabry is set to continue in the advanced role to support striker Harry Kane with Jamal Musiala still sidelined through injury.
Joshua Kimmich is nursing an ankle issue, so Leon Goretzka and Aleksandar Pavlovic are likely to be stationed in the middle of the park.
Kim Min-jae (thigh) and Josip Stanisic (ankle) are also in the treatment room for the visitors.
Koln vs Bayern Munich Predicted Lineups
- Koln: Schwabe; Sebulonsen, Krauss, Simpson-Pusey; Thielmann, Huseinbasic, Johannesson, Castro-Montes; Schenten, Ache, Kaminski
- Bayern Munich: Neuer; Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Ito; Pavlovic, Goretzka; Olise, Gnabry, Diaz; Kane
Koln are 10/1 to inflict a first league defeat of the season on Bayern. Two of their last three home matches in the top flight have ended in a stalemate, with the draw marketed at 11/2.
Bayern are 2/9 to come away with the three points. Two of their previous three victories have included clean sheets and they are 7/5 (implied probability of 41.7%) to win to nil.
Harry Kane is the division's top scorer with 20 goals and he is the 4/9 favourite to score anytime on Wednesday.
Koln vs Bayern Munich Stats
- 11 of Bayern's 16 league wins have been won by a -2 handicap
- Michael Olise (BAY) has three goals in his last two matches
Handicap -2 - Bayern Munich -2 @ 11/8
Bayern are in a strong position to defend their Bundesliga crown as they sit 11 points clear of Borussia Dortmund in second (at the time of writing) and they are yet to beaten so far.
Die Bayern have won 14 of their 16 fixtures to date and because of this their 2/9 price for victory is not particularly enticing. I've had to seek value elsewhere and I'm drawn to the handicap markets.
Bayern to prevail with a -2 handicap at 11/8 appeals because it has been a winning selection in 11 of their league fixtures this term, including three of their past four outings.
If you are unfamiliar with this market, it gives Koln a hypothetical 2-0 lead and Bayern would need to then ensure they win by a three-goal margin for the bet to be settled as a winner.

Anytime Goalscorer - Michael Olise @ 11/10
The prolific Harry Kane was my first choice when looking for a goalscorer bet but his price to strike anytime isn't excellent, although I did consider picking him to score two or more at 21/10.
However, I am turning to his attacking teammate Michael Olise to strike anytime at 11/10. The French winger is having an excellent campaign for the league leaders, with nine goals and 11 assists to his name already.
The former Crystal Palace man has three goals across his previous two league appearances, so he should be brimming with confidence ahead of this trip to Cologne.
