Hamburger SV vs Bayer Leverkusen Odds
Hamburg are 9/4 to claim their sixth home win of the season.
Leverkusen have three wins in their previous six outings in the Bundesliga and they are 21/20 to come out on top here.
Three of the hosts' past five league matches at Volksparkstadion have ended in a draw, and the stalemate on Wednesday night is priced at 13/5.
Over 2.5 goals has been a successful bet in three of the last four competitive meetings between these sides, and this market is available at 8/11 on this occasion.
Hamburger SV vs Bayer Leverkusen Stats
- Hamburger SV have lost just 1 of their last 8 home league games
- 7 of those most recent 8 home matches in the Bundesliga have seen both teams score
- Fabio Vieira has scored in successive matches coming into Wednesday
Double Chance & BTTS - Hamburger SV or draw & Yes @ 8/5
Hamburger were left disappointed on Sunday as their unbeaten home record came to an end at the hands of RB Leipzig. But this does not take away the fact that Die Rothosen have now lost just one of their previous eight fixtures on home turf in the Bundesliga.
Leverkusen will be wary of this as they aim nail down some consistency on the road. Die Werkself head to Hamburg having won just one of their previous four outings in the top flight, so there is a degree of vulnerability about them right now.
Hamburger have proven to be a strong outfit on their own patch and I think they are good value to avoid defeat on Wednesday. I've boosted the selection with the addition of BTTS - Yes, which has landed in seven of the most recent eight league games at Volksparkstadion.

Anytime Goalscorer - Fabio Vieira @ 10/3
Forgotten Arsenal man Fabio Vieria has been with Hamburger since the summer on loan and so far he has registered some respectable numbers. Four goals and as many assists in 18 Bundesliga appearances is a good return for the Portuguese midfielder who found game time limited at the Emirates.
The 25-year-old has scored three times across the last five league matches, with his most recent two coming in back-to-back fixtures against Mainz and Leipzig. He should be brimming with confidence coming into this one and I believe he is good value to grab his fifth goal of the campaign at the price of 10/3 (implied probability of 23.1%).
