BTTS Tips: 14/1 boosted four-fold from the EFL on Saturday

It wasn't the best start to my BTTS column for the new season last weekend, but it wasn't terrible either. Two out four was a respectable return but it drives me for a full house this time around - and of course we now have Championship games to choose from with the second tier getting underway this week.
Below you will find my BTTS Tips, which have been kindly boosted by the traders.
BTTS Tips - Saturday, August 9
- BTTS Yes in Norwich City vs Millwall @ 10/11
- BTTS Yes in Bolton Wanderers vs Plymouth Argyle @ 4/5
- BTTS Yes in Wycombe Wanderers vs Stockport County @ 10/11
- BTTS No in Sheffield United vs Bristol City @ 1/1

BTTS Yes in Norwich City vs Millwall @ 10/11
After a disappointing mid-table finish in the Championship last season, Norwich City will have loftier ambitions in 2025/26. They liked what they saw from Bristol City last season so they went out and hired Liam Manning as their new head coach from the Robins.
The Canaries have made some interesting signings this summer, notably Mathias Kvistgaarden from Brondby, but they have lost Borja Sainz to Porto. They start their season at home against Millwall, who themselves will be looking to push on under Alex Neil.
Kvistgaarden arrives at Carrow Road with an impressive goal record and some think he could be a strong contender for the Golden Boot this term. The same goes for Mihailo Ivanovic of Millwall, who bagged 12 goals in the second tier last term.
Norwich ranked top in the Championship for BTTS last season, with 65% (30/46) of their games producing goals at both ends of the pitch. I can see this trend continuing into the beginning of the new campaign.
It's also worth noting that BTTS has struck in four of the past five meetings between the two clubs.
BTTS Yes in Bolton Wanderers vs Plymouth Argyle @ 4/5
Bolton Wanderers fell to defeat at Stockport County in their League 1 opener last weekend, but it wasn't due to a bad performance. The Trotters arguably played the better of the two teams but they were lacking in the final third. In the last two transfer windows they have lost their biggest sources of goals in Dion Charles and Aaron Collins, so this leaves work for them to do before the window shuts in a few weeks.
They welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday, who also tasted defeat last week, losing 3-1 at the hands of Barnsley. Argyle ranked seventh in the Championship last term for BTTS, with 57% (26/46) of their fixtures seeing both teams get on the scoresheet.
Last season, 57% (13/23) of Bolton's home games produced goals at both ends of the pitch. The hosts need to show they can be clinical in front of goal, while Plymouth's defence was particularly leaky on opening day.

BTTS Yes in Wycombe Wanderers vs Stockport County @ 10/11
For quite some time last season, promotion looked realistic for Wycombe Wanderers. But as soon as Matt Bloomfield had his head turned by Luton Town their season began to spiral. They finished in the play-offs but lost to Charlton Athletic in the semi-finals.
Mike Dodds will be hoping to build on that this time around and he has been busy in the transfer market this summer. The Chairboys fell to a defeat against newly-promoted Bradford City last time out but they were unfortunate not to come away with something.
They entertain Stockport County on Saturday at Adams Park, another of last season's play-off sides, who will look to build on their Bolton victory. This fixture was played on the final weekend of the regular season in May, which the Hatters won 3-1.
Both clubs will be hoping to be in the top-six picture once again and so I am expecting a competitive clash here, with goals scored by both teams.
BTTS No in Sheffield United vs Bristol City @ 1/1
Evening action comes from the Championship as Sheffield United host Bristol City, in a repeat of the play-off semi-final first leg. The visitors may experience some nerves heading to Bramall Lane as they were comfortably beaten 3-0 in their last visit here, and they make their way this time in a much weaker position.
Manning was poached by Norwich and Gerhard Struber, his successor, is not filling the supporters with confidence that they can be in for another fruitful campaign.
Ruben Selles is the new man at the helm at Sheffield United, who relieved Chris Wilder of his duties after losing the play-off final to Sunderland. Selles was able to keep Hull City up in the brief time he spent there last season, and before that he had done a stellar job at Reading amidst all sorts of off-field issues.
The Blades won both legs of the play-off semi-final 3-0 and the Robins look to be in a much weaker position heading into the new campaign. So I think BTTS No could be a shrewd selection in South Yorkshire.
