Fulham vs Crystal Palace @ 4/5

We start with a couple of cracking looking all-Premier League ties in the FA Cup quarter-final, which simply scream BTTS at first glance. First up, we begin at Craven Cottage, where two in-form sides face off for a place in the last four. Both Fulham and Palace have won four of their six in the top flight and are separated by just four spots in the table.

As for their BTTS stats, the Cottagers rank top of the Premier League with 72% of their games seeing both teams scoring. At the Cottage that rises to 73% with 11 of their 15 games seeing it land.

The Eagles don't rank as highly for this metric but still have seen 54% of their total games end with no clean sheets on show. However, they are in great attacking nick and have scored in 10 consecutive league games.

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest @ 8/11

The other FA Cup tie takes place at the Amex Stadium and again looks like one that is glutton for goals.

Again this match is between two sides in decent form, with Forest defying all pre-season predictions to sit in third spot and Brighton on a five-game unbeaten run that has seen them fly up the table into seventh.

The Seagulls rank fifth in home BTTS stats with 10 of their 14 games (71%) on the South Coast resulting in both sides netting. Forest haven't been anywhere near as 'impressive' in this statistic but have had no issue scoring, failing to score in just one of this last six games, which was a creditable 0-0 draw with Arsenal.

Surely both sides will be in all-out attack mode with a potential Wembley visit on the horizon?

Dundee vs Rangers @ 8/11

Next, we head north of the border for an SPL clash between 11th-placed Dundee and a Rangers side currently sat 13 points behind league-leaders and bitter rivals, Celtic. This may look like a mismatch on paper but it looks perfect for this column.

Dundee rank top of the Premiership for both overall and home BTTS stats at 73% and 87% respectively. The Dee's record at Dene Park beggars belief with 13 of their 15 games to date seeing both teams bag. Their last five games have seen BTTS hit and they will be feeling buoyed by the 4-2 win over city rivals United last week.

However, Rangers will of course be a tough proposition but they have been fallible in the defensive part of the field this season. The Gers haven't kept a clean sheet since the 2nd February and have seen 20 goals scored in total in their last five games.

I like our chances with this one.

Norwich vs West Brom @ 8/11

We head back down south to East Anglia for an intriguing-looking Championship contest between Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion. City look to have blown any chance of a playoff charge, with just one win in their last eight matches, while Albion are hanging on to sixth spot by a thread.

The Canaries form may not be great but their BTTS record certainly is, with every one of their last six seeing both keepers beaten. Overall, they lead the league in this stat and at Carrow Road it leaps to a huge 84%, with 16 of 19 games in front of their home fans seeing it land.

Interestingly, West Brom rank top of the league for away BTTS, with 15 games from 19 (79%), so this one is probably our pick of the week in this column.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Stuttgart @ 4/9

Last, but not least, we head into mainland Europe for a Bundesliga battle between two out of form sides in Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Eintracht are still sat in the European spots in fourth, despite losing three of their last four matches, while Stuttgart are winless in five and have fallen into 10th spot.

The BTTS stats favour us here though, with Die Adler third in the league at 77% at Deutsche Bank Park, including seven of their last eight home games. Similarly, Stuttgart 'excel' in this metric, with 73% of their overall games (19 from 26) seeing it hit.

It looks like we could be heading for a goal fest in Hesse on Saturday afternoon.
