Brighton will look to end their winless run in the Premier League when they welcome Sheffield United to the Amex Stadium on Sunday (14:00).

The Seagulls picked up a historic 2-0 win over Ajax in the Europa League on Thursday, while the Blades picked up their first three points of the league campaign last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Wolves.

Brighton vs Sheff Utd Prediction

  • Correct score - Brighton 3-0 @ 7/1
  • Evan Ferguson to score first @ 18/5

Team News

James Milner lasted just eight minutes against Ajax before exiting due to injury, while Lewis Dunk and Pervis Estupinan both joined him in the treatment room later on.

Julio Enciso, Jakub Moder and Solly March are at various stages of their recovery from knee injuries, while Danny Welbeck and Tariq Lamptey remain absent.

As for the visitors, Chris Basham, Max Lowe, Rhian Brewster, Rhys Norrington-Davies, John Egan, Tom Davies and Daniel Jebbison are all unavailable.

Match Odds

Brighton are 2/9 to end their winless run, while Sheffield United are 11/1 to make it back-to-back wins here, with the draw priced up at 5/1.

Over 3.5 goals can be backed at EVS, while both teams to score is 4/5.

Correct score - Brighton 3-0 @ 7/1

Confidence will be high in the Brighton camp after a famous 2-0 victory away at Ajax on Thursday.

Brighton have put Luton and Bournemouth to the sword with 4-1 and 3-1 home victories this term and I believe they can inflict a heavy loss on Sheffield United.

The Blades have lost to nil at West Ham and Arsenal already this term, and the Seagulls can avoid becoming the first side since 1966 to score and concede in their first 12 games of a top-flight season.

Only three sides in the league have outscored Brighton so far, so I believe they can rack up the goals and get back to winning ways here.

Evan Ferguson to score first @ 18/5

The young Irishman continues to impress week-by-week, and he'll no doubt be on the radar of many clubs around Europe.

With him being odds-against to score anytime, I've opted to back him as first goalscorer to increase the value.

Ferguson has scored all of his Premier League goals at home this term and the forward can add to his tally against the league’s bottom club, who have conceded 14 times across their last five trips.
