Brentford and West Ham United gear up for a Premier League capital clash on Saturday afternoon (15:00) at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees made history by beating Chelsea 2-0 last weekend, while the Hammers enjoyed a famous victory of their own against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

Brentford vs West Ham Prediction

  • Brentford to win @ 21/20
  • Bryan Mbeumo to score anytime @ 6/4

Team News

Brentford have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of West Ham, so Thomas Frank could field a similar lineup to the one that beat Chelsea last weekend.

However, the likes of Ivan Toney, Rico Henry, Mikkel Damsgaard and Josh Dasilva all remain absent.

As for West Ham, Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez will serve one-game suspensions on Saturday, after both men picked up their fifth bookings of the season in the defeat against Everton.

Match Odds

The home side are 21/20 to claim the three points, with the away win priced up at 12/5, and the draw 13/5.

Both teams to score is 8/13, while over 2.5 goals 8/11.

Brentford to win @ 21/20

The Bees are coming off an impressive 2-0 victory against Chelsea last weekend, where they became the first-ever team to win on their first three visits to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

They've continued to remain competitive without the suspended Ivan Toney, and with West Ham playing in midweek, I think fatigue could be a factor here.

I also believe that the Hammers will be significantly weaker without suspended duo of Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez, and David Moyes' side, despite the midweek heroics, have picked up just one win in their last six league outings.

Bryan Mbeumo to score anytime @ 6/4

As mentioned, Brentford’s attacking record is impressive considering Ivan Toney’s absence, and Bryan Mbeumo has emerged as their leading scorer.

The Bees forward has six Premier League goals this term, both scoring and assisting in each of his last two league games.

The Cameroon international has three goals in his last four league matches against West Ham, as well as eight goals in his last nine London derbies, making him a very decent option to score anytime in Saturday's clash.
