Bradford vs Newport County Prediction: County can frustrate Bantams

The Monday night football action comes from League 2 when in-form Newport County go to Bradford City, who are without a win in their last four league matches.
County have recorded back-to-back home wins over Crewe and Salford but the Bantams are still unbeaten in the league at home this season and this has the makings of a tight clash.
Team News
The Bantams still have several players out injured, with Aden Baldwin, Alex Pattison, Antoni Sarcevic and Joe Adams all unavailable.
Defender Neill Byrne could return for the hosts, though, after recently resuming training and fellow centre-back Paul Huntington is tipped to make his debut after joining as a free agent on a short-term deal last week.
Newport defender Matt Baker will not feature after he was named in the Wales Under-21 squad but James Clarke is available again to boost the backline.
Kai Whitmore and Shane McLoughlin are rated as doubtful for the visitors.

Bradford are the favourites at 4/9 to win, County are available at 5/1 to make it three victories on the spin, with the draw 3/1.
There have been goals at both ends in both sides’ last two outings and it’s 4/5 for that to happen again on Monday, while over 2.5 goals on the night is a 4/6 chance.
Draw @ 3/1
Bradford will be desperate to end their four-game winless streak in League Two but Newport should approach the trip to West Yorkshire with plenty of confidence following successive victories over Crewe and Salford.
With just three points and five places separating the two teams, they look fairly evenly matched and this should be an entertaining clash with chances at both ends.
All three of Bradford’s defeats this term have come on the road but at home they have been much more solid, beating Bromley and Carlisle and drawing with Salford and Wimbledon.

Andy Cook - Anytime goalscorer @ 11/10
Bradford will be aware Newport have a poor defensive record this season, conceding 17 goals in their first nine games, and forward Andy Cook will be hoping to take advantage of any mistakes at the back on Monday night from the visitors.
The 33-year-old has been sharp in the first two months of the campaign, scoring four league goals, while he has also bagged in the EFL Trophy and EFL Cup.
He remains one of City’s main goal threats and will be hungry to add to his impressive tally of 76 goals from 175 appearances for the club in front of the TV cameras.
