AFC Bournemouth will look to claim their first points of the new Premier League season as they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday (15:00 BST). The Cherries were beaten 4-2 at Liverpool on opening night.
The visitors are also in search of their first points of the campaign, having been thrashed 4-0 at home to Manchester City last time out. Below you will find my Bournemouth vs Wolves predictions, featuring the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Bournemouth have further added to their squad this week with two attacking additions. Ben Doak has checked in from Liverpool in a £25m deal, while Amine Adli has arrived from Bayer Leverkusen. Both will be eligible to make their debuts on Saturday, which has given Andoni Iraola some needed depth in attacking areas.
Doak may have to wait for his first start as David Brooks looks to have held his place in the side due to his contributions at Anfield, which included setting up Antoine Semenyo's first goal.
Justin Kluivert, the man who scored a hat-trick of penalties against Wolves last season, remains a doubt to a calf issue, and the same goes for Ryan Christie with a groin problem. Enes Unal and Lewis Cook (both knee) are ruled out for the hosts.
Bournemouth vs Wolves Stats
- Bournemouth have won three of the last five PL meetings with Wolves
- Antoine Semenyo (BOU) bagged a brace against Liverpool last week
- Jorgen Strand Larsen (WOL) had four shots against Manchester City in Gameweek 1
Bournemouth vs Wolves Predicted Lineups
- Bournemouth: Petrovic, Smith, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert, Adams, Scott, Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks, Evanilson
- Wolves: Sa, Doherty, Toti, Agbadou, Tchatchoua, Gomes, Andre, Wolfe, Lopez, Munetsi, Strand-Larsen
Wolves have made a signing of their own this week, with Jackson Tchatchoua arriving from Hellas Verona. The right-back clocked the fastest speed in Serie A last season, so he will add some much-needed pace to the Old Gold's back line.
Supporters are anxious about further incomings, though, as is boss Vitor Pereira. It doesn't help that Newcastle United are now engaging in discussions with the club over a deal for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, with a £60m fee quoted.
Losing a man who scored 14 goals in the top flight last season would be a crushing blow to Wolves, who have already lost another regular source of goals in Matheus Cunha to Manchester United this summer.
ACL victim Leon Chiwome is the visitors' only absentee for the weekend.
Bournemouth have won three of the last five Premier League head-to-heads with Wolves, and they are 4/5 (which has an implied probability of 55.6%) to win this clash.
Two of the past four meetings at this ground across all competitions have ended in a draw after 90 minutes, and the stalemate is priced at 3/1.
Wolves have won on their previous two league visits here and they are 7/2 to come away with the three points.
Both teams have scored in three of the last five head-to-head contests in all competitions and BTTS is marketed at 4/6.
Bournemouth and both teams to score @ 23/10
Bournemouth showed great fighting spirit to claw their way back into the game against Liverpool, levelling things up from 2-0 down, despite going on to concede two late goals.
There will have been plenty of positives for Iraola to take moving forward - notably Semenyo and Brooks' contributions but also the assist that came from new left-back Adrien Truffert.
I think they have enough about them to get off the mark for the campaign on home soil. Wolves head here having conceded four goals themselves in their opening fixture, but they do not have the squad depth that their hosts have.
However, Strand Larsen is a huge asset for them and he can play a huge part in this game which could help produce a high-scoring contest. But ultimately, I cannot see anything other than a home win given the attacking options they will be able to bring on to impact the game.

This is where the selections get exciting, and I have picked out a player from either side to get on the scoresheet here. I think there's a good chance we see a few goals in this clash given how vulnerable both sides looked defensively in Gameweek 1, and if you're looking for individuals to step up and deliver I can't look past Semenyo and Strand Larsen.
Semenyo bagged a brace at Anfield to get his season off to a brilliant start, and I think he will cause Wolves' defenders a lot of problems on Saturday. With the confidence gained from the two goals last week, I think he will add to his tally against the Old Gold.
Strand Larsen's Wolves future may be in doubt at the moment but he remains committed to doing his bit out on the pitch for Pereira's side. He may not have scored against City last time out, but he registered four shots, with two hitting the target.
The forward bagged 14 goals in the top flight last term and two of them came agains Bournemouth - so I think he will open his account for the new season this weekend.
