Saturday (20:00) brings with it the game which most people pencil in right at the beginning of the season, the Champions League final. Inside London's Wembley Stadium we will see Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid do battle in a bid to win Europe's most prestigious prize. Dortmund return to Wembley for a Champions League final for the second time, having lost to Bayern Munich in 2013.

Real Madrid are gunning for another record-extending crown, and this time it is number 15 they are on the hunt for. Both teams have performed admirably to reach this stage and I do see the result as a tough one to call. There are some aspects of the game I do have confidence in, and I have thrown together a three-legged 18/1 bet builder using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature. Read on for my Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid bet builder tips.

Under 2.5 goals

As mentioned above, I do think this is a really tough game to call. Obviously my head says Real Madrid because this is their stage and winning Champions League titles is what they do. However, Dortmund, while the underdogs, have done excellently to get to Wembley and they took down two big players in Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain on their route to the final.

So I have not risked calling the result, but what I do like is for there to be under 2.5 goals. Dortmund have been a strong defensive unit in Europe this term and nine of their 12 fixtures so far have seen two goals or less.

Their strong defensive line frustrated PSG in the semi-finals and Edin Terzic will be asking his men to do the exact same thing against Los Blancos. Madrid themselves have been involved in four matches in the Champions League this season that have produced two goals or less, but it is the resolute defensive structure of Dortmund that sways my mind here.

Vinicius Jr anytime goalscorer

It is going to take patience, skill and determination to break down this yellow wall for Madrid and it is a good thing that they have one such player who can do that. Vinicius Jr is one of the most exciting players in Europe and his pace and trickery are sure to be high on Dortmund's preparations heading into Saturday's final.

After containing PSG's star man Kylian Mbappe over the two legs of the semi-finals, Dortmund shouldn't be fazed at the thought of facing Vinicius Jr, but his record this term should give them cause for concern.

In nine Champions League outings, the Brazilian has scored five goals, including a brace against Bayern in the first leg of the semi-finals. His first goal saw him take defender Kim Min-jae for a ride. He tucked in to invite the South Korean only to spin round at speed and run into acres of space for Toni Kroos to feed him the ball to go on and score.

Dortmund will need to be wary of this but the wide man's pace always gives him the advantage, and that is why I fancy him to get on the scoresheet here.

Emre Can to be carded

When it comes to yellow cards in the Champions League this season, only PSG's Ousmane Dembele has accrued more than Dortmund's Emre Can. The German midfielder/defender plays with aggression, and that will be the mantra for the Black and Yellows at Wembley this weekend.

Can will be tasked with swarming those in white and not giving them much time to think on the ball, but Los Blancos have players who can deliver while being pressed. This would suggest that the Dortmund man will have a few occasions in which he is late in the challenge, and coming up against the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and former teammate Jude Bellingham, it's easy to understand why.

The former Liverpool man has committed 15 fouls across the campaign in Europe so far, and I expect to see that tally rise by quite a few after the weekend, and as such expect him to collect his fifth yellow card of the tournament.
