Bologna vs torino predictions betting tips serie a friday february 14 2025

Bologna extended their unbeaten streak to nine games - six in Serie A - with a goalless draw at Lecce last Sunday, and they go in search of a fourth consecutive victory at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara when they host Torino on Friday evening (19:45).

Below are my Bologna vs Torino predictions, complete with all the latest team news and match odds.

Bologna vs Torino Betting Tips

  • Player to Receive a Card - Saul Coco (TOR) @ 21/10
  • To Win to Nil - Bologna @ 6/4

Team News

Jens Odgaard (hamstring) has been ruled out of Friday's contest for the hosts, who could welcome back Lewis Ferguson and Riccardo Orsolini who have both carried out specialised training this week, although a return next week might be more realistic for both.

Davide Calabria is awaiting his debut for I Rossoblu having joined from AC Milan at the beginning of February, while the likes of Juan Miranda, Nikola Moro and Thijs Dallinga are in contention for starts having been utilised from the bench last Sunday.

Football Odds

Samuele Ricci is suspended for the visitors having picked up a fifth yellow card of the 2024/25 Serie A campaign in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Genoa.

Adrien Tameze (muscle), Alieu Njie (unspecified), Perr Schurrs, Duvan Zapata and Emirhan Ilkhan (all knee) miss out for Torino through injury.

Il Toro signed Eljif Elmas, Cristiano Biraghi and Cesare Casadei during the winter transfer window, with the latter most likely to start on Friday evening.

Bologna vs Torino Odds

Bologna won the reverse fixture 2-0 in Turin on December 21 and are 4/5 to do the double over their opponents, implying a 55.6% probability, while Torino are 4/1, or a 20% chance, to triumph on their travels for the first time since December 13.

Il Toro have drawn six of their last seven games and it's 12/5 for Paolo Vanoli's side to make it seven in eight, and both teams to score is priced at 6/5.

Bologna pair Orsolini and Dallinga (both 2/1) lead the anytime goalscorer market with Che Adams (7/2) first up for the visitors.

Player to Receive a Card - Saul Coco (TOR) @ 21/10

Regular readers of my previews will know all about my affinity for Bologna and Switzerland forward Dan Ndoye, who is an absolute foul magnet.

Remarkably, the 24-year-old wasn't fouled once by Lecce last weekend, but in his previous away game in Serie A, he was upended five times and is fouled, on average, 2.9 times per game in the competition this season.

Ndoye has spent most of the season playing off the left but has started from the right in Bologna's last two matches and if he is deployed there again on Friday, he could be in direct contact with Torino's Saul Coco, who operates as Il Toro's left-sided central defender.

Coco is averaging 1.8 fouls per game in Serie A this season and has picked up eight yellow cards - only Monza defender Armando Izzo and Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella (both nine) have received more.

The 26-year-old has been carded in three of his last five matches and could be forced to take alternative action to deal with Ndoye on Friday.

To Win to Nil - Bologna @ 6/4

Bologna shipped seven goals against Verona (2-3), Roma and Inter (both 2-2) in a three-game post-Christmas spell but then conceded just once in their next four against Monza (3-1), Borussia Dortmund (2-1), Empoli and Sporting (both 1-1) and have now kept three consecutive clean sheets, beating Como (2-0) and Atalanta (0-1) before last Sunday's goalless draw at Lecce.

Torino, meanwhile, have scored exactly one goal in four of their last five matches, blanking in a goalless draw with Parma before that run, and only five clubs have found the net fewer times than Il Toro (25) this season.

Friday's visitors are unbeaten in their last seven outings but this might be one game too far for them.

I Rossoblu's last five matches have all seen two or fewer goals, and all of Torino's last six have gone under 2.5 total goals.

It's likely to be a low-scoring contest at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, with the hosts fancied to edge it.
