Bologna went into the international break having seen their ten-match unbeaten streak ended in Florence, but last season’s ninth-place finishers will be hopeful of bouncing back when they return to Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Monday evening.

Visitors Torino sit just two points adrift of Monday’s hosts, but they will have to be at their best to extend their three-match unbeaten sequence at a stadium they haven’t won at since 2016.

Bologna vs Torino Betting Tips

  • Bologna to win @ 13/10
  • Joshua Zirkzee to score anytime & Alexis Saelemaekers to be carded @ 10/1

Team news

Bologna are without joint-top scorer Riccardo Orsolini for Monday’s clash, who will likely be replaced by Dan Ndoye, while Adama Soumaoro and Jesper Karlsson are also sidelined for the hosts.

Injuries to Karol Linetty and Samuele Ricci will limit Torino’s midfield options for the trip to Bologna, with that duo joined by Perr Schuurs on the injury list.

Match Odds

Bologna head into this game as 13/10 favourites after a strong showing at home this season, with Torino 23/10 outsiders and a draw priced up at 21/10.

A 5/4 price for over 2.5 goals suggests a low-scoring game could be on the cards, with the opposite side of the bet coming in at 4/7, while both teams to score is 10/11.

Bologna to win @ 13/10

Bologna’s defeat to rivals Fiorentina was just their second loss of the season and they return from the last international break of 2023 just two points adrift of fifth-place Atalanta.

Their home form has been crucial to this success, with 13 points from six home matches earning them the fourth-best home record in Serie A.

After losing their opener to AC Milan, I Veltri have won four and drawn one of their five home assignments and they can draw confidence from a strong recent record when Torino come to town.

They haven’t lost at home to Torino since 2016 and Il Toro have not been at their best on their travels this season, losing half of their six trips away and only beating 14th-place Lecce and rock-bottom Salernitana.

Joshua Zirkzee to score anytime & Alexis Saelemaekers to be carded @ 10/1

Joshua Zirkzee is Bologna’s joint-top scorer this season alongside the injured Riccardo Orsolini and the 22-year-old Dutchman can continue his rich vein of form on Monday.

He scored Bologna’s only goal of the game in Florence to double his Serie A tally from last season and he has scored three of those four goals in his last five appearances, chipping in with an assist for good measure, too.

Left-sided Bologna attacker Alexis Saelemakers has been less impressive than his teammate, though. He has forced his way into the starting lineup of late but tends to draw the referee’s ire on a regular basis.

The 24-year-old managed to pick up two yellow cards in just 27 minutes from the bench against Monza earlier this season and has been booked in two of his last three starts for the hosts.
