Bolivia vs Brazil Prediction: Will Bolivia experience the ultimate high?

Boliva still have an outside chance of making it to the 2026 World Cup. They sit eighth in the table, one point behind Venezuela, who currently hold the intercontinental play-off place, with the six teams above them already automatically qualified.
It’s a straight tussle between these two then, as Bolivia host Brazil at the fearsome Municipal Stadium El Alto (00:30 BST, Wednesday) and Venezuela host Colombia. With a much poorer goal difference, Bolivia have to win and hope for the best, and below you can find my Bolivia vs Brazil predictions.

Team News
Bolivia have to go all out to try and win this game, so expect Oscar Villegas to name an attacking line-up in order to put the pressure on the five-time World Cup winners. We can expect Miguelito to lead the line again as the top talent in this side, while Roberto Fernandez is likely to revert to left-back, opening up a spot at left wing.
Carmelo Algaranaz came off the bench in the defeat to Colombia so is probably at the front of the queue to start, with Ervin Vaca likely to feature in the midfield. Robson Matheus should join him, while Carlos Lampe will be desperate to keep a clean sheet that would massively help his side out.
Carlo Ancelotti has chosen to assess some fringe players during this international break, leaving both Vinicius Jr and Rodygo in Madrid. Kaio Jorge, Luiz Henrique and Andrey Santos are all likely to be looked at in detail, here, while Joao Pedro and Richarlison will battle it out for a place up front.
Bento may also be handed a start ahead of Alisson in goal, although Ancelotti will want to maintain a level of professionalism and sporting integrity in their final qualifier.
Bolivia vs Brazil Predicted Lineups
Bolivia - Lampe; Medina, Haquin, Morales, Fernandez; Matheus, Vaca, Villamil; Panaiagua, Miguelito; Algaranaz
Brazil - Bento; Wesley, Marquinhos, Alexsandro, Henrique; Santos, Guimaraes; Henrique, Kaio Jorge; Lino; Richarlison
Bolivia are priced at 12/5 to win this game, with Brazil the favourites at 5/4. That gives the away team an implied win probability of 45% while a draw can be backed at 11/5.
BTTS has been priced at 10/11 and over 2.5 goals is 6/5, while Richarlison is the favourite to score first at 11/2.
Bolivia vs Brazil Stats

- The last four Ecuador games have ended 0-0
Bolivia to win @ 12/5
Bolivia are a big price to win this game at home, and I’m going to back them to get the job done. Their home stadium is a major benefit, as the Municipal Stadium El Alto is the highest stadium that holds more than 10,000 fans in the entire world. They’ve won five, drawn two and lost one of their home World Cup qualifiers during this cycle, and look likely to do well again here.
The altitude is such a strength of theirs while the game is so important to them - and not important at all for Brazil, who I expect to rotate heavily. Ancelotti is keen to make sure he gets a good look at the fringe players, and this is one of the toughest tests world football has to offer. Bolivia might just be able to land a major shock.

Miguelito to score anytime @ 5/2
Miguelito is still just 21, but the Santos man, currently on loan at America Mineiro, is making a name for himself. Only Lionel Messi (eight) and Luis Diaz (seven), have scored more goals in Conmebol qualifying than Miguelito - as he has netted six goals to date. He’s also the key man for this Bolivia outfit, scoring six of the last 10 goals that they have scored.
If I’m backing Bolivia to win, I think it also makes sense to back Miguelito to find the net. He’s a top talent, and he opened the scoring against Chile back in June. Decent price to find the net anytime against Brazil.
