Besiktas vs Kocaelispor Prediction: Rafa Silva to strike gold again

Bottom-of-the-table Kocaelispor take a trip to Tupras Stadium on Monday (18:00 BST) to take on 10th-placed Besiktas, who have won both of their Super Lig home games so far this season.

Team News
Besiktas are likely to be without Mustafa Hekimoglu (muscle), Salih Ucan (hamstring) and Ege Tiknaz (bone edema) on Monday.
Rafa Silva starred last time out for the Black Eagles as he hit a hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Kayserispor, where Tammy Abraham was also on target; the Portuguese attacker and English centre-forward are nailed-on starters against Kocaelispor.
The visitors could be without Mateusz Wieteska (knee), Karol Linetty and Maissado Haidara (unspecified), with Ahmet Oguz (muscle) also doubtful of featuring at Tupras Stadium.
However, Austrian forward Can Keles returns from suspension following his red card in the 2-0 loss at Gaziantep on September 14.
Besiktas vs Kocaelispor Predicted Lineups
- Besiktas: Gunok; Svensson, Topcu, Uduokhai, Jurasek; Ndidi, Kokcu; Toure, Silva, Rashica; Abraham
- Kocaelispor: Jovanovic; Dijksteel, Balogh, Smolcic, Cinan; Show, Keita; Rivas, Bingol, Churlinov; Petkovic
Besiktas (2/5) are heavy favourites to claim all three points on Monday, with their odds implying a 71.4% probability of success, while Kocaelispor (6/1) are considered a 14.3% chance.
The draw is available at 7/2, both teams to score at 4/5, and over 2.5 total goals at 8/13.
Besiktas vs Kocaelispor Stats
- Besiktas' Super Lig games are averaging 11.2 corners (highest in the division)
- Half (three) of Kocaelispor's matches have produced 11+ corners
- Rafa Silva (BES) hit a hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Kayserispor last Wednesday
- Rafa Silva struck 12 Super Lig goals last season
Corner Over/Under - Over 9.5 @ 5/6
Besiktas' Super Lig games this season are averaging 11.2 corners, the highest in the division. Three of their five matches have produced 11+ corners, including both at home (13 in 2-1 win v Eyupspor, 15 in 2-1 win v Istanbul Basaksehir).
Kocaelispor, meanwhile, are averaging 9.3 corners per game (for/against), but half of their six matches have finished with 11, including last time out as they drew 1-1 at home with Rizespor.
The hosts should dominate this contest, so I'm expecting plenty of corners to be whistled their way on Monday, which should help to land this line.

Anytime Goalscorer - Rafa Silva (BES) @ 6/4
Abraham is the obvious candidate in the anytime goalscorer market, and 21/20 is still a solid enough price considering his stature and record of seven goals in 11 appearances since joining on loan from AS Roma during the summer.
However, at 6/4, I've got to get behind Rafa Silva, who struck 18 times in 49 games during his debut campaign with the club in 2024/25. The 32-year-old scored 12 goals in the Super Lig, making him Besiktas' second-top marksman behind Ciro Immobile (15).
Rafa Silva got on the scoresheet in the Black Eagles' first league home game this season, netting an injury-time winner in a 2-1 victory over Eyupspor, and after his treble at Kayerispor last week, he should be in the mood for more on Monday.
