Premier League Odds

Will there be over 10.5 corners in the Fulham (h) v Manchester City (a) match? - NO

City have won the most corners in the Premier League this season, and their fairly convincing performance midweek against Bournemouth secured a vital three points on the road to Champions League qualification.

Despite this, there were only four corners in the match. City's last visit to Craven Cottage yielded eight corners in a 4-0 demolition, and I feel like the outcome could be the same this time. I'm saying No.

Will Aston Villa (a) beat Manchester United (h)? - YES

Manchester United are in freefall, compounded by a relatively toothless defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

Ruben Amorim has a truly abysmal record this season, overseeing 14 defeats in 26 matches. Villa need to win to have any chance of securing Champions League football, and I expect them to play like it. It's a Yes.

Will both teams score in the Newcastle (h) v Everton (a) match? - NO

Like Villa, Newcastle need to win, and unlike Villa, this will assure them of Champions League football.

I expect them to start fast and to keep it up for the duration of the match. Everton have scored just 15 away goals this season, and I don't expect them to add to it with nothing left to play for. No.

Will Chelsea (a) score over 1.5 goals against Nottingham Forest (h)? - YES

This is arguably the game of the day. Both sides need to win.

Chelsea can guarantee Champions League football, while Nottingham Forest need Man Utd to get an unlikely result against Villa. I expect Chelsea to win, but Forest to score, so by that logic, they'll need more than one. Yes.

Will Brighton (a) beat Tottenham (h)? - YES

Spurs have just won the Europa League and qualified for the Champions League. This game doesn't matter to them at all.

There will probably be squad rotation and a few sore heads from the ongoing celebrations. Brighton, on the other hand, secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Liverpool last time out to keep their slim European hopes alive. They'll want to win, and they should win. Yes, for me.

Will there be over 10.5 corners in the Wolves (h) v Brentford (a) match? - YES

Brentford are the last team on the list with anything to play for. As unlikely as it may be, they can qualify for Europe. The previous two matches between the two have seen over 10.5 corners land on both occasions in what has been an open affair.

I think it'll be the same again in an end-of-season game, which is essentially just for entertainment. Yes. ,

Head over to Beat Fred before 3pm on Saturday, May 24 2025 and have a go at answering these six yes/no questions yourself, and you could be in with a chance to win a share of £5k.
