Premier League Odds

Will there be under 10.5 corners in the Brighton (h) v Everton (a) match? - YES

Brighton’s possession-heavy football doesn’t always translate into a barrage of corners, as they often play through the middle with quick passing moves. Everton, meanwhile, tend to sit deep, rarely racking up many corners themselves, winning only three in their recent 3-2 win over Spurs.

This could result in a low tally, especially if the game stays tight. Under 10.5 corners? I’m leaning Yes.

Will there be over 42.5 booking points in the Southampton (h) v Newcastle United (a) match? - YES

Southampton and Newcastle both have plenty to play for, and this fixture has all the ingredients for a scrappy affair. With the Saints battling relegation and Newcastle looking to cement their European ambitions, tempers could boil over.

Expect late tackles, yellow cards, and a bit of drama. Over 42.5 booking points? It’s a Yes for me.

Will Bournemouth (h) beat Nottingham Forest (a)? - NO

Both Bournemouth and Forest have had an outstanding first-half of the season with both looking to finish the league in European places.

With the Cherries likely to be buoyed by their home crowd, I’d be tempted into backing yes here, if it wasn’t for one man – Chris Wood.

Sporting an impressive 14 league goals from 21 starts, I think he’ll drag Forest to at least a point, if not all three! No for me.

Will the total number of goals be odd in the Manchester City (h) v Chelsea (a) match? - YES

This one’s tricky. City’s attack can run riot, but Chelsea are in much better form, and they sit above City in the table for the first time in what seems like years.

The odd/even goals market is always a gamble, but I’m expecting a lot of goals, and an odd total feels slightly more likely. I’m saying Yes to odd.

Will Crystal Palace (h) beat Brentford (a)? - YES

Being only separated by a point, both these teams have enjoyed a solid start to the season. Palace are tough to beat at Selhurst Park, their organised approach and physical nature make it a challenge for any team. That said, Brentford’s counter-attacking style could pose a threat, especially if they get the first goal.

A tight match, but Palace’s home advantage and stronger recent form might tip the scales. I’ll back Yes to a Palace win.

Will Fulham (h) beat Manchester United (a)? - NO

Fulham have been solid at Craven Cottage this season, but Manchester United, for all their inconsistency, have enough firepower to trouble any defence when they decide to turn up.

If the Red Devils can bring their A-game, this could be a tough afternoon for Fulham. Still, the Cottagers are capable of a surprise.

This one feels like a cautious No. Manchester United desperately need the points.

This week’s Premier League fixtures are full of potential for fans and punters alike. These six questions capture some of the weekend’s most intriguing matchups, from fiery battles to tactical chess matches. Whether you’re building an accumulator or simply enjoying the games, there’s plenty to look forward to. Good luck, and let’s see how it all unfolds on the pitch!
