The third and final Sydney derby of the 2025/26 Australian A-League Men's season takes place this Saturday (10:35 BST, TNT Sports 4) at CommBank Stadium, where hosts Western Sydney triumphed 1-0 against Sydney FC last November before falling to a 1-0 defeat in January's reverse meeting at Allianz Stadium.

Below are my Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney predictions, alongside all the latest team news and match odds, as bottom-of-the-table Wanderers, who will miss out on this year's finals series, look to dent their fifth-placed rivals' chances.

Team News

Western Sydney Wanderers defender Jacob Farrell (groin) is out for the rest of the season, but Brandon Borrello has recovered from his own groin problem after missing last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Melbourne City.

Hiroshi Ibusuki, Kosta Barbarouses (both calf) and Ryan Fraser (Achilles), all of whom missed out at AAMI Park, too, are also back in Gary van Egmond's extended squad.

Football Odds

Alex Grant (hamstring) and Joe Lolley (ankle) are sidelined for Sydney, but Abel Walatee and Marcel Tisserand are in contention to feature at CommBank Stadium after missing last week's goalless draw at Brisbane Roar, which was Patrick Kisnorbo's second game in charge following the dismissal of previous head coach Ufuk Talay, who appears set to switch sides and join the Wanderers in the summer.

Six yellow cards, amounting to 60 booking points, were dished out in January's derby, the same as in the first fixture of the season at CommBank Stadium last November.
