Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar Prediction: Klein to clean up again at HBF Park

After back-to-back wooden spoons, Perth Glory will be relieved to see Western Sydney Wanderers claim the dishonour this season, but they need to avoid defeat at HBF Park this Saturday (12:45 BST, TNT Sports 9) to secure 10th ahead of their opponents Brisbane Roar.
Below are my Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, as the visitors look to leapfrog their hosts in the Australian A-League Men’s ladder.

Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar Odds
Perth Glory, unbeaten in their last four games (W1, D3), are 6/4 to end the season with a win, implying a 40% probability of success. Brisbane Roar, who have failed to win their last 11 matches (D5, L6) since claiming a 2-1 victory at HBF Park on January 16, are the same price, with the draw offered at 5/2.
Both Teams To Score In The First Half & Both Teams To Score In The Second Half has been boosted from 9/1 to 11/1.
Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar Stats
- Both teams have scored in nine of the last 10 H2Hs
- Taggart (PER) scored in January's H2H at HBF Park
- Klein (BRI) also struck in that 2-1 away win, making it three goals from his last two trips there
Both Teams To Score and Total Goals Over/Under +3.5 - Yes & Over 3.5 @ 2/1
Both teams have scored in nine of the last 10 H2Hs, including the last three, two of which have taken place this season, with Brisbane's 2-1 win at HBF Park in January followed by a 1-1 draw at Suncorp Stadium the following month.
Neither meeting this season has produced four goals, but we've had three and two, and all that's left to play for between the two sides is 10th place.
I see Perth and Brisbane going for goals on Saturday, rather than sitting back and soaking up pressure, which should create the conditions for a goal-fest at HBF Park.
Both teams to score and over 3.5 goals has been a winning selection in eight of the Glory's 25 league games this season, including three of their last six, while for the Roar, it's landed five times; three of those occasions have come in their last five, including their last two heading into this contest.

Bet Builder - Adam Taggart (PER) & Samuel Klein (BRI) Anytime Goalscorers @ 11/2
It's not been Adam Taggart's finest goalscoring season, having struck just five times in 21 ALM appearances, but two of those goals have come in his last three.
The 32-year-old was absent for Perth's last home match, but in his most recent outing at HBF Park, a 1-1 draw with Melbourne City on March 22, he scored his side's equaliser in second-half stoppage time.
Taggart was only a 62nd-minute substitute in the 1-1 draw between Brisbane and Perth in February, but he started and scored in Glory's 2-1 defeat on home soil in January.
Like Glory striker Taggart, Brisbane midfielder Samuel Klein is his side's joint-leading marksman in the league this season with four goals, and one of those was struck against Perth, in January's meeting at HBF Park.
The 22-year-old has fond memories of this ground, as he bagged a brace in a 3-1 victory there in March 2025, meaning he has three goals in his last two appearances in Perth.
Klein got on the scoresheet in Brisbane's last away game, a 2-2 draw with Central Coast Mariners on 10 April, and looks a good bet again to find the net on his travels this Saturday.
