Newcastle Jets vs Macarthur Stats
- NEW have won their last seven games, despite keeping just one clean sheet in that run
- December's H2H finished 5-4 to MAC
- Both ALM meetings last year saw both teams score at least twice
Match Result & Both Teams to Score - Newcastle Jets & Yes @ 13/8
The Jets are top of the league, are the leading scorers (40 goals) and have won their last seven games, so it would take a brave person to back against them making it eight consecutive victories on Sunday.
Macarthur, meanwhile, have only won one of their last six league matches (D4, L1), and were dumped out of the AFC Champions League 2 on Thursday following a 4-2 aggregate defeat to Bangkok United.
The Bulls did win at McDonald Jones Stadium on Boxing Day, scoring a winner in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time to triumph 5-4, but the Jets haven't dropped a point since that game.
Despite landing seven successive wins, the Jets have only kept one clean sheet in 2026, and with Macarthur scoring in nine of their last 10 league games, I think it's worth backing both teams to score alongside a home win on Sunday.

Both Teams to Score 2 or More Goals Yes/No - Yes @ 7/4
This was a winning selection in both meetings between the two teams last year, with a 3-3 draw at Campbelltown Stadium in March followed December's nine-goal thriller.
Both teams have scored two or more goals in four of the Jets' league games this season, while it's landed three times for the Bulls, including last time out in the ALM as they drew 2-2 at home to Perth Glory on February 6, a couple weeks after winning 6-2 against Melbourne City.
There is real attacking firepower in both sides, so I'm hopeful of goals all round on Sunday.
