Team News
Central Coast Mariners captain Trent Sainsbury could make his first league appearance of the season on Sunday after recovering from an Achilles injury.
Fellow defender Nathan Paull is back after serving a suspension in last week’s 2-1 win at Brisbane Roar, but Christian Theoharous, Will Kennedy and Seth Clark (all unspecified) are out injured for Warren Moon’s side.
With Nathan Barrie back fit, Western Sydney Wanderers boss Gary van Egmond has a full complement to choose from on Sunday, and Alou Kuol returns to the extended squad, too.

Central Coast Mariners vs Western Sydney Wanderers Odds

Central Coast Mariners vs Western Sydney Wanderers Stats
- Di Pizio (CCM) has scored twice in six ALM apps this calendar year
- CCM have won their last two games
- WSW are winless in their last three (D2, L1)
Anytime Goalscorer - Miguel Di Pizio (CCM) @ 16/5
Miguel Di Pizio has been one of CCM’s standout stars in a difficult season for the club.
The 20-year-old has scored three goals in 16 ALM appearances, with two coming in six games this calendar year.
Di Pizio has registered a goal or assist in all but one of his 2026 contests, and he heads into Saturday’s match having done so in his last four. He provided an assist against Macarthur FC, Auckland FC and Melbourne Victory before scoring his side’s equaliser in their 2-1 win at Brisbane Roar on February 7.
At 16/5, he’s a nice price to net in back-to-back games for the first time this term.

Match Result - Central Coast Mariners @ 3/1
I can understand the Wanderers being favourites here as they possess a much more talented and experienced squad than the Mariners, but I rate the home side’s chances of winning as greater than 25%, which makes their 3/1 odds in the Match Result market great value.
Moon’s men have won both of their games this month, beating Melbourne Victory 1-0 at Polytec Stadium before coming from behind to overcome Brisbane Roar 2-1 at Suncorp Stadium.
Those victories extended their unbeaten run to four matches, following draws at home to Macarthur FC (1-1) and away to Auckland (2-2) during the second half of January.
The Wanderers, meanwhile, are winless in their last three games, following up a 4-1 derby defeat to Sydney FC with home stalemates against Melbourne City (1-1) and Wellington Phoenix (2-2).
