Central Coast Mariners vs Adelaide United Prediction: CCM to do the double after January hammering

After a fruitful February that yielded 10 points from a possible 12, Central Coast Mariners started March in fine fashion with a 3-1 victory at Macarthur FC to extend their unbeaten run to seven games.
On Saturday (04:00 GMT, TNT Sports 1), Warren Moon’s men host another in-form outfit, Adelaide United, at Polytec Stadium. Ahead of the action, you can check out my Central Coast Mariners vs Adelaide United predictions, complete with all the latest team news and match odds, below.

Central Coast Mariners vs Adelaide United Stats
- CCM have won four of their last five games (D1)
- Brantdman (CCM) scored his third goal of the season in last week's 3-1 win at MAC
- The 20 y/o's second came in January's 4-0 victory at ADL
Match Result - Central Coast Mariners @ 15/8
Despite a seven-game unbeaten run that has seen them win four of their last five, the Mariners continue to be disrespected in the market.
Backing CCM as underdogs have proven profitable over the last six weeks or so, with all four of their victories since the start of February coming against the odds. I found particular success in backing them to beat Western Sydney Wanderers at 3/1 on February 22.
Adelaide are on their own unbeaten run, avoiding defeat in their last four games, but after winning the first two, they've drawn back-to-back matches heading into Saturday's contest.
The Mariners are missing a few important players again this weekend, notably Di Pizio, but they did the business without him last time out, beating Macarthur FC 3-1 in their own backyard, and their opponents on Saturday, Adelaide, are without a couple of key men themselves, Goodwin and Pierias, so the value is once again with CCM here.

Bet Builder - Bailey Brandtman (CCM) Anytime Goalscorer & Under 4.5 Away Team Goals @ 7/4
Mariners forward Bailey Brandtman scored his second goal of the season in January's 4-0 victory over Adelaide, and his third arrived last week in the 3-1 win at Macarthur.
The 20-year-old is set for an extended run as a starter in the absence of Di Pizio, and I'm backing him to take full advantage of his teammate's absence.
The Reds, meanwhile, haven't scored more than four goals in a single game this season.
