Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory Prediction: Daggers to dent former side at Suncorp

February hasn't been fun for Brisbane Roar or Perth Glory, who have both picked up just a single point from nine on offer so far. The two clubs face off against each other at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday (07:00 GMT, TNT Sports 4), looking to end the month on a high.
Below are my Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory predictions, alongside all the team news and match odds.

Team News
Henry Hore, James O’Shea, Milorad Stajic (all leg) and Nathan Amanatidis (quad) are still in the Brisbane Roar treatment room, while Emmett Shaw has been ruled out of Saturday's game with a back complaint.
James McGarry is back from the suspension he served in last weekend's 1-0 loss to Sydney FC.
Perth Glory have a player of their own returning from a one-game ban, Brian Kaltack, who missed his side's 4-0 defeat at Adelaide United.
Arion Sulemani is also included in the extended squad for Saturday's trip to Brisbane, but Joel Anasmo (Achilles), Brandon O'Neill (calf), Cameron Cook (knee), Tom Lawrence and Lachlan Wales (both unspecified) are still out injured.

Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory Odds
Brisbane Roar, who have won the last two head-to-heads, including a 2-1 victory at HBF Park last month, are 1/1 to secure their first three points since that trip to Perth, implying a 50% probability of success, while Perth Glory are 9/4, or a 30.8% chance, to triumph, with the draw offered at 23/10.
Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory Stats
- BRI (49) and PER (39) rank first and second, respectively, for yellow cards
- 70 booking pts were awarded in last month's H2H at HBF Park
- D'Agostino (BRI) has scored twice in three starts
Booking Points - 80+ @ 6/1
With just two points separating ninth-placed Brisbane and 10th-placed Perth in the table, and both sides in bad form, it may be worth backing a scrappy contest on Saturday.
The Roar (49) and Glory (39) are first and second, respectively, for yellow cards this season, too, and are two of five teams to receive a couple of red cards.
This selection was close to landing in last month's HBF Park meeting as Perth and Brisbane were shown four and three yellow cards, respectively, totalling 70 booking points, and in their only head-to-head in 2025, a 3-1 away win for the Roar last March, 60 booking points were produced as each side was awarded three yellow cards.

Anytime Goalscorer - Nicholas D'Agostino (BRI) @ 6/4
Brisbane loanee Nicholas 'Daggers' D'Agostino, who joined on a temporary deal from Norwegian side Viking last month, should be highly motivated to get on the scoresheet this Saturday.
The 28-year-old moved back to Australia in January to aid his 2026 World Cup dream with the Socceroos, for whom he has earned three caps, the latest coming in a 2-1 friendly defeat to the USA last October.
D'Agostino has made a strong start on his return to Brisbane, where he began his professional career before leaving for Perth in 2019, scoring on his first two starts against Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory before blanking in last week's loss at Sydney FC.
He will, of course, be looking to get one over his former club, too, where he spent two seasons, netting eight times in 28 ALM appearances before joining Melbourne Victory in 2021.
