Arsenal and Aston Villa both made winning starts to their Premier League campaigns last weekend as the Gunners downed Wolves and Villa got an impressive win at the London Stadium. Now the two Champions League challengers meet on Saturday (17:30, Sky Sports Main Event), looking to add another three points to their tallies.
Below you can find my Aston Villa vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips, as I look to pick out a winner for this big Premier League clash.

Arsenal to win
Listen, this is going to be an incredibly tough test for Arsenal, one of their hardest away trips in the entire campaign. I rate Unai Emery incredibly highly and the work he has done at Villa has been magnificent. With the summer additions, they are arguably going to be even stronger this season, although they also have to tackle the Champions League.
However, this is a massive season for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. After two seasons of going close, this could be the year they overhaul Manchester City in the league, and they need a seriously quick start if they are to escape City’s clutches. I think with their quality all over the pitch, they will be able to find all three points at Villa Park.
Villa also did the double over Arsenal last year so the Gunners will want to put down a marker this term. Had they won just one of those two fixtures, they would have been champions in May. Arteta will be targeting maximum points in this one.
Morgan Rogers and Bukayo Saka to score
I’ve picked out two goalscorers here, and I’ve tried to look for players who can boost our odds. Bukayo Saka is the obvious pick for Arsenal, having started the season on fire with a goal and assist against Wolves. If the Gunners win the league, he will have a massive part to play and given he is now the designated penalty-taker, I think he can find the net again in this one.
Meanwhile, the value selection in my eyes for Aston Villa is Morgan Rogers. Although Ollie Watkins is the obvious choice, I think Rogers is set to have a massive season under Emery, and played the full 90 minutes in the number 10 role against West Ham. He had one shot on target in that game, but I’m expecting him to increase his shot output, and believe he can find the net against Arsenal.
Each team over 19.5 booking point
The final selection for us to add to our Bet Builder is each team to have over 19.5 booking points. That means Aston Villa and Arsenal will both have to pick up at least two yellows, or one red card apiece. In my eyes this is going to be a feisty affair at Villa Park, with so much on the line already.
When you consider some of the midfielders on the pitch, and the pace of the attackers, I think there will be several cards on both sides. Michael Oliver is in charge of this one, and he gave out four yellows in Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth last weekend. This selection takes us up to 33/1.
