Aston Villa vs Liverpool Bet Builder Tips: Boosted Bet Builder catches the eye

We’ve got a vital Premier League clash coming our way on Wendesday night as wannabe champions Liverpool head to Champions League contenders Aston Villa (19:30, TNT Sports 2). That may be a kind moniker for Unai Emery’s men looking at the table, but there is only a six-point gap between them and fourth-placed Manchester City, so it’s certainly not impossible.
Meanwhile, the Reds can extend their lead at the top of the table to 10 points here over Arsenal, which would be a sizeable advantage with both teams having 13 to play at the time of writing. I’ve searched for a winner with this Aston Villa vs Liverpool Bet Builder, and you can find it down below.

Aston Villa to win or draw
Now looking at this one on the surface you would suggest league leaders Liverpool are the heavy favourites to take all three points. But I have the opposite view. Villa haven’t won any of their last four games - a run that has seen them drop down to ninth in the table - but they have only lost twice at Villa Park all season and are unbeaten in their 12 on home soil since a 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace on October 30.
Villa Park remains a fortress, and under the lights, we should get a special atmosphere while Emery has a lot of elite players in his team to hurt Liverpool. It’s not difficult to imagine Liverpool dropping points here, given the last meeting between these sides at Villa Park ended 3-3 last May.
Liverpool have also not been at their best over the last three fixtures. They followed up a defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup with that dramatic 2-2 draw at Goodison Park, and while they got back to winning ways last time out against Wolves, they limped over the line with a tepid second half performance that saw them fail to register a single shot.
I think they are wobbling, and this will prove to be a really tough test. They’ve kept just three clean sheets in their last 12 and Arne Slot doesn’t seem to be able to stop them leaking goals, while Villa have scored in all five league games against Liverpool at Villa Park since earning promotion in 2019. I think Villa can get one or three points here.
Morgan Rogers to score
With 11 goals in 36 matches in all competitions this term, including three Champions League strikes, Morgan Rogers has emerged as one of Villa’s key players this term. He scored in the recent cup win over Spurs and I think could cause Liverpool problems - given I think their midfield is slightly struggling for legs right now.
Rogers has such intelligent movement, and he has handled the step up from the Championship with ease, but I didn’t predict him to produce such impressive numbers this term. He currently averages around one shot per match, but is a pretty effective shooter when he does unleash, with his conversion rate of 27 per cent ranking him in the 91st percentile in the Premier League. I think he is a great goalscoring option for this match, and he is included in this boosted Bet Builder.
Liverpool most corners
This Bet Builder was priced at 8/1, but it has been boosted on Betfred to 9/1, and it is rounded off with a corner selection. Simply, we just need Liverpool to have more corners than Aston Villa, which I think is likely even if they drop points. If Villa score first, Liverpool are going to have to pour forward searching for an equaliser, which in turn should lean to more corners.
Even if Villa don’t open the scoring early, we should expect Liverpool to have the most possession and edge this statistic. Over the course of the season so far they are averaging 6.3 corners per match in comparison to Villa’s six, so I’ll back them to come out on top with the most corners to complete our boosted Bet Builder.
