Arsenal vs Monaco Bet Builder Tips: Saka to be busy in 11/2 shot

Arsenal will be disappointed that they dropped more points in the Premier League title race after their draw at Fulham at the weekend. They will look to take their frustration out on Monaco, who they welcome to the Emirates Stadium in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday (20:00, TNT Sports 1).
Both teams have picked up 10 points from their first five matches and a win here could be huge for either of them securing an automatic qualification spot. To get you in the mood for the game, I've thrown together my Arsenal vs Monaco bet builder tips, which pay out at an enticing 11/2. Check them out below.
Arsenal vs Monaco Bet Builder Tips
- Arsenal to win
- Both teams to score
- Bukayo Saka 2+ shots on target
- Kai Havertz and Lamine Camara 1+ fouls each
Bet Builder pays at 11/2
Arsenal to win
Arsenal will want to shake off the weekend result quickly ahead of their next Premier League clash at home to struggling Everton this weekend. I'm confident that they can take the three points in both home games this week. Why? The Gunners haven't lost a match at the Emirates so far this season.
They've had two draws but have won the other eight games on home soil. Already in Europe they have taken down Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar Donetsk in N7, and I do believe they can rack up another win against Monaco.
As I mentioned above, there is little to separate the two teams. There is one place between them in the standings but Monaco have scored 12 goals to Arsenal's eight, while the Gunners have conceded just twice and Monaco have shipped seven goals in the first five games.
Adi Hutter's side are faring well in Ligue 1 as they sit third, five points behind leaders PSG. They can make this a tricky game for Arsenal but after seeing Mikel Arteta's men demolish Sporting CP away from home, they will know the threat the Gunners will pose to them.
The home advantage is sure to play its part, so I'm expecting Arsenal to win again at the Emirates.
Both teams to score
Arsenal have been strong defensively in the Champions League so far but I don't think they will record a shutout in this contest. Their opponents have been having a lot of joy in front of goal. Only Barcelona (18), Bayern Munich (17), Borussia Dortmund (16), Liverpool (13), Manchester City (13) and Atalanta (13) have scored more goals than Monaco.
They have also scored a further 24 goals in Ligue 1 in 14 games, so they will present a big attacking threat inside the Emirates. Arteta is also likely to rotate his side for this game ahead of the weekend, so we could see another unfamiliar back four get thrown together.
Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori are set to miss out again due to injury and without the former, the Gunners are not as solid defensively, as we saw against Fulham. That is why I can see Monaco getting in on the action on Wednesday.
Bukayo Saka 2+ shots on target
Arsenal's exciting winger Bukayo Saka has been enjoying himself in the Champions League so far. He's featured four times and provided two goals and one assist for the Gunners. Across those games, he has had 11 attempts at goal, with seven hitting the target.
This means he is averaging around 1.8 shots on target per game, so I think backing him to register two on this occasion could offer value. The England international loves to create opportunities to shoot by cutting in on his left boot from the right.
So far, we haven't seen the European sides doubling up on him as much as teams in the Premier League do, so this is bound to play into his hands.
Kai Havertz and Lamine Camara 1+ fouls each
This bet builder is rounded up by a couple of fouls, and I've gone for the players who have been penalised the most from the two sides. Kai Havertz is drawn to a challenge like a moth to a flame. He loves to get physical and as the front man for Arsenal, he leads the press.
The German international has committed 10 fouls already but surprisingly is yet to pick up a yellow card. This only raises my confidence in this selection because he doesn't have any bookings looming over him.
Monaco's Lamine Camara has committed nine fouls so far from midfield, but he has collected two bookings already. He's walking a tightrope heading to north London as one more would see him suspended for one game.
It's going to be hard for him to keep a clean record in this game with the quality Arsenal have in midfield and attack, so I do think he will be drawn into at least one foul here.
